So high that they banned most knives and you require a license to get them.

Guns are not made specifically for killing.

Yes, but at the same time, someone who is breaking the law won't follow any that stands in his way. So when someone breaks into my house at night looking to kill me or my family (with a gun), that's all I have to defend myself.
Isn't the stabbing rate in England very high? I'm asking because I really don't know.
Yes, but would you rather be shot or stabbed? It's also much harder to do spree killings with a knife.
The way to stop spree shooting is to make it so guns can only hold 1 round and there is a lock with a one minute timer that activates every time the gun is shot, locking up the action and preventing repeating fire.
But what if 3 armed men break into your home and are heading for your wife and kids?
Which are both extremely inefficient.
Guns can be inefficient too

2,000 rounds fired and they didn't kill a single person, except one shot himself on accident.
Guns are not made specifically for killing.
Yes they are.
Yes, but would you rather be shot or stabbed? It's also much harder to do spree killings with a knife.
Neither which is why I planned to get a concealed carry license so no one can shoot or stab me. :)

Specifically made for killing

Specifically made for butter
I don't know why we're arguing over "specifically made to kill" anyway, to declare they must be banned based on that is completely unrealistic, you are not considering the actual effects of guns.
except one shot himself on accident.
you see guns are dangerous ban ban ban
The entire point of chainsaws were to cut shit down, they're also great at cutting limbs I hear
But what if 3 armed men break into your home and are heading for your wife and kids?
Be like that guy in that shoot out scene in the Boondock saints and have like eight guns.
Neither which is why I planned to get a concealed carry license so no one can shoot or stab me. :)
Yeah sure buddy. Carrying a gun under your shirt is totally gonna stop you getting shot.
you see guns are dangerous ban ban ban
He was trying to reload his handgun by putting it under his chin to hold it, since his other hand was shot. He obviously wasn't a safe firearms user.

You would have to be an ultimate badass to go on a murder spree with a chainsaw.
Yes, but would you rather be shot or stabbed? It's also much harder to do spree killings with a knife.
I'd honestly rather be shot. The wound is instantly cauterized and the general impact is less lethal than being stabbed. Being stabbed leaves a large area that is cut, a bullet leaves a small circle.
Yes, but would you rather be shot or stabbed? It's also much harder to do spree killings with a knife.
Honestly, I'd rather be shot than stabbed. I'd imagine the pain from a sharp knife would be slower and more agonizing than a quick puncture with a basic 9mm bullet. Though it really depends on what you're being shot/stabbed with. Besides, I think people that have been shot have a tendency to notice it after the fact since the adrenaline masks the initial pain of being shot.
But that's just me.

CCLs project force fields now, didn't you see the article?

You guys really should take a few pointers from us. We've already caught on to the idea of drawing a weapon.
Vice President Biden says that if these laws save even one life, they're worth enacting.
But what about the New York City subway system? People are killed by trains and the tracks each year. Why doesn't he enact laws that would save just one life in NY?
I say we ban the subway cars. No one needs the subway trains.
You would have to be an ultimate badass to go on a murder spree with a chainsaw.
I don't get why murder sprees are valid justification for the banning of guns considering they're less than 1% of all firearm homicide in the U.S.

And the fact that knives are a lot taller than bullets, leading to a larger penetration area and a larger amount of blood pouring out.

It's not like bullets destroy vital organs and paralyse you or anything.

Because if someone dies in a random area, we all have to fear being in that random area.
You guys really should take a few pointers from us. We've already caught on to the idea of drawing a weapon.
If somebody wants you dead they will not give you the chance. Maybe in your tiny mind they will, but in real life you are going to fucking die.
It's not like bullets destroy vital organs and paralyse you or anything.
And knives don't???
It's not like bullets destroy vital organs and paralyse you or anything.
I could do the same if I threw a big rock at somebody.
Bullets may do that, but the damage area is as I said, a lot smaller than that of a knife.
And knives don't???
Not to the same degree.
If somebody wants you dead they will not give you the chance. Maybe in your tiny mind they will, but in real life you are going to fucking die.
And you wouldn't die if you had a gun?
It's not like bullets destroy vital organs and paralyse you or anything.
It's not like getting stabbed isn't just fun and games or anything.
