Well fuck me but isn't that a violation of the first amendment rights ? Even if he's a poor politician (I don't know, I barely know him) as long as he isn't assaulting anyone or being openly racist I don't see why he would be kicked out like that.
Nope. This is an event being held by a private organization. They can invite or ban anyone they wish to.
too bad ron paul is a shite politician anyway
too bad ron paul is a shite politician anyway
You mean one of the few with consistent views, and doesn't deviate from them to attract voters?
too bad ron paul is a shite politician anyway
Better than an empty-headed clutz, a misguided pizza business CEO, and a man who can't speak in public or think ahead.
You mean one of the few with consistent views, and doesn't deviate from them to attract voters?
Sticking steadfastly to silly policies is not a virtue.

Would you care to back that up, or are you just going to state your opinion like a fact?
They let Bachman in but not Paul?
Wow.
I never got why hawk Christians republicans were so pro-Israel (other than the lobby money)
surely they would want to invade Israel and bring Christianity to those Jewish people
Part of the bible says Christ will return/end of the world when the Jews rebuild Solomon's Temple. First step is getting that area under firm Jewish control. And so Christians, using Jews, plan to bring about the Second Coming.
Plus, we don't like those silly muslim people and the enemy of my enemy is...
He does not think we should give Israel military assistance so he must hate Jews? I also thick it is funny this constitutes as hatred and unacceptable but they allow candidates who have come right out and said they don't trust Muslims and would never allow them into their cabinet based solely on their beliefs.

I don't think we should give military assistance to any nation. I must hate everyone :v:

Well before that happens all the Christians need to be raptured so no Christians aren't using Jews to bring about the second coming as we won't even be there.

You misunderstand what is written and what is thought.
People don't care about what is written.
so he got kicked out of a debate for having views that conflict with others?
uh ok then
I dislike Ron Paul but to exclude him from a debate because he has views that will turn it into an actual debate instead of a circlejerk shows how anti-democratic the GOP really is.

It wasn't the GOP's choice, it was the group holding the debate
Maybe with Herman Cain now out of the race, they will let Paul in.

HOW COULD YOU, YOU BAD PERSON. HOW DARE YOU THINK WE SHOULD TAKE CARE OF OURSELVES FIRST.
HOW COULD YOU, YOU BAD PERSON. HOW DARE YOU THINK WE SHOULD TAKE CARE OF OURSELVES FIRST.
Yeah, let's borrow billions of dollars from China to donate to various foreign nations too.
Especially when we're in 14 trillion dollars in debt.
HOW COULD YOU, YOU BAD PERSON. HOW DARE YOU THINK WE SHOULD TAKE CARE OF OURSELVES FIRST.
The problem is that taking care of yourself tends to involve making sure the things you're interested in are protected.
Would you care to back that up, or are you just going to state your opinion like a fact?
Oh right, I forgot about the double standard on this forum.
The problem is that taking care of yourself tends to involve making sure the things you're interested in are protected.
Except that would conflict with a policy against using military intervention in a foreign country.
If something tanks in another country, then it's our own damn fault for exclusively relying on that resource. Specialization is the worst mistake you can make, just as a matter of survival. You never know when that resource is going to disappear so you have to be prepared it.
What are Ron Paul's views anyway? I don't pay attention to politics that much.

I guess you're all going to be taking bicycles everywhere because your country imports about 75% of its oil. About 90% of your cobalt is imported, and so on
the world isn't that simple
[editline]4th December 2011[/editline]
hell, no rare earth ores have been mined in North America in the 21st century

No it is that simple. The fact that were are so reliant on foreign oil is stupid, the fact that we have to use military intervention to secure the stability of that resource is even worse. Course we can always spend another 10 years in the middle east to make sure the pipes keep flowing. And then another 10 after that.
Oh and I have a horse, it runs on plant matter and water, so I'm pretty well covered if the US suddenly found itself without fuel.

wow so you are seriously advocating that the US becomes the wild west because the US like most other countries is dependent on imports to create a developed society

but wasn't the bible written when Christians were Jews? so in a modern sense, that means the christians must rebuild it.

Build trust then invade when they least expect it.
Even though I know lots of you hate Ron Paul, this is fucking stupid
Denying a major candidate who has been winning polls and absolutely schooling the other candidates on every issue the ability to attend a debate is such a blatant symbol of everything that is fucking wrong with American politics, that because an organization doesn't like you, you basically have to sit on the sidelines and hope your die hard fans still vote for you.
This is just fucking pathetic.
“I’m sure there are gatherings of Islamists and anti-Semites where he would be welcomed with open arms,” Mr. Tobin professed.
He went on to accuse Ron Paul of being an anti-semite, and put fucking Islamists in the same group as anti-semites. You heard it here first folks, Muslims are the same as anti-semites!
