Group Boycotting 3DS because it "fuels Abuses of human rights"

It's rule in business you don't complain when you are getting the best price for premium materials.
You only do something when it hits the more mainstream media and threatens PR.
technically milk is produced by enslaved cows but i cant complain
Delicious, delicious, Bovine nipple juice.
I'm boycotting the 3DS until I have enough money to buy it
Like those people would buy a 3DS even if it wasn't made with "lol conflict minerals"
But they're foreign workers

The source of the suffering exists because companies keep giving it money.
Getting this stuff doesn't have to involve slavery and shit conditions. Is this the only place in the world they get this material from? This is a political matter, not a company matter.
Boycotts never work unless a majority of the market takes part, which I highly doubt that will happen.
when ppl notice how the 3DS sucks im do this

Well they have a point, but so much shit around me was made by sweat and blood of others that pondering about it would just make you feel depressed.
:frog:
They don't even specify what these "conflict minerals" are.
I think they are pulling this out of their ass.

No, it's very real. The fact of the matter is that companies can't really prevent things like this.

Wow that was hard
Blood Nintendium is serious business, guys. That ungodly durable plastic doesn't come cheap you know.
oh fuck i just killed 20 black men by pre-ordering a 3DS
Order more!
So do laptops, computers, ipods and every other computer gadget
It's not like it would just magically stop if Nintendo didn't use the mineral.
This kind of stuff is going to continue anyway, regardless of whether or not there's somebody to buy it.

What an asinine notion.
It would stop if everyone stopped purchasing it from these sources, and Nintendo is part of everyone, so it would be impossible for everyone to stop if Nintendo didn't.
So why shouldn't Nintendo stop?
Now I want a 3ds more
Sounds like a valid reason to boycott it.
Wait, I don't get this.
Nintendo are probably using the 3DS to smuggle conflict diamonds. Not like it can be used for gaming...
I could probably buy 10 slaves with the price of a 3DS in Congo.
Fuck that, let's say 25.
They mean materials like Coltan, right? Well, every fucking portable device uses it as far as I know, so their boycott doesn't make much sense v:v:v
I didn't wanted to buy a 3DS anyways, so I'm doing something good now.

Not really, you're simply not doing something evil.
I didn't wanted to buy a 3DS anyways, so I'm doing something good now.
By buying the NGP or any other modern electronic device you're doing the same thing :v:
And the minerals are....
tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold are the ones most talked about.
for the mentally challenged who think wikipedia isnt a viable source
