Chicken does have flavor to it though, whereas shark fin is a fibrous keratin. It has no flavor. Noodles add texture and absorb flavors, but they are not a potentially endangered species. I'd eat shark fin soup if it was substituted with chicken and noodles, that sounds delicious.

Unless you've cooked it yourself and added it, there really is minimal taste in the shredded bits of chicken that normally accompanies noodle soup.
And besides that, I wasn't arguing whether or not they were endangered, I was just commenting on your "flavor" post.
