Hungry Hungry Humans.
It's funny because they say it boosts sexual potency, while in reality it could potentially cause sterility if eaten in large quantities because of the high mercury content.
These are the same people who, thousands of years ago, invented gunpowder while trying to discover the secret to immortality. Let them dream.
What else do sharks do? (Besides being tasty)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apex_predator They keep ecosystems in check.
The fin adds no flavor at all. Just eat it without the fin.
Honestly, not that I agree with killing the sharks, but that's like saying "chicken noodle soup tastes the same without the chicken and the noodles, just drink the broth".

It has no flavor. Noodles add texture and absorb flavors, but they are not a potentially endangered species. I'd eat shark fin soup if it was substituted with chicken and noodles, that sounds delicious.

And besides that, I wasn't arguing whether or not they were endangered, I was just commenting on your "flavor" post. [editline]26th September 2011[/editline] Texture does not count as flavor.
