I appreciate it that Anita Sarkeesian is coming out into the Mainstream because that, although she will give her own opinion, she will also be open for more retorts against her information.
To play the devils advocate, one doesn't need to play video games to critique them. However, Anita Sarkeesian isn't an exemplary figure to be a figurehead for the movement as her work ethic, her rhetoric, Numerous Illegitimate characteristics of herself in relation to her actions and research have made the movement not necessarily nice but a fraud who's full on misinformation and cherry picking.

If you play the game normally you see them for 10 seconds as you sneak past. They exist (much like every voiced NPC in that level) to let you know how much of a massive prick your current target is.

I have no issue at all with equal rights and standing for women. I wouldn't care less if new games with progressive ideas came out, though I'd be in the crowd of laughing people if it came off as pretentious.
I strongly believe that the malicious harassment of Anita Sarkeesian is wrong, but I don't like how she plays the victim to its limits 24/7 for attention and fame.
I think the the video series on misogyny in gaming she made was for the most part a moronic and contrived load of shit with numerous dubious questions to be asked about its nature, origins and production.
