From the looks of the video, it seems like the driver refused to get down on the ground, which triggered the officer's response.

They want to be done with it just as much as you do, so if you be respectful and let them, you usually won't have trouble. ...And then you have cases like this one. This cop really ought to be ousted. If someone curses at you, it isn't a threat.
