How Anonymous perceives themselves:

I wouldn't mess with him. He manages to wear that Power Glove without shame, and that takes guts.
sounds terrible
Why were they banned in the first place? If it was solely because they were "anonymous", Google is completely in the wrong for banning them
"Apparently members of the loose collective Anonymous received a coveted invitation to join Google+ and promptly established an account as “Your Anon News.” Google deemed the account’s content to be in violation of its Community Standards."

The total number banned is unknown. I'm willing to bet this was like five fucks who did something stupid (Your Anon News isn't exactly a news thing) and are now asspained about it, but I'm not sure.
Also, what the fuck, how is this even news worthy?
"the forum already had over 100 registered members."
Jesus Christ you could get 100 idiots on a forum just by posting in here and on a couple *chans "hey guys join this forum", that isn't exactly a substantial size.
Edit: Okay, yeah, what the fuck.
You guys do know that the only reason you got kicked is because Google only want people to create personal account and not business/product/website profile, right?
Even Mashable got kicked once or twice from G+

ROW ROW
This isn't a thing. Read forum, laugh, move along.
And then it gets taken over by 4chan faggotry and turns into a steaming pile of shit, dying alone and unloved in an unmarked grave underneath an outhouse in some backwater country.
The Nym family is very powerful, Google doesn't want to upset them
good thing i chose my allies carefully
it doesn't reject your name like facebook does it? "that is not your real name" was something I expected from google moreso than facebook
Ahahaa wow. This is amazing
i'd like anonymous much better if
1. they figured out a way from getting any whackjob to say "i'm the spokesperson for anon"
2. stopped talking like it's a speech from gary oldman
3. dropped the WE ARE LEGION crap
4. stopped using webspeak

I'd rather like it if they actually do something besides ddosing websites.
I always find it funny how anon thinks they can take on the government, I'd love to see an army of those neckbeards attempt to take on the us military.
I'm not going to lie, I'm still worried that everyone is underestimating them again. They do get shit done when they're organized.
These people take themselves WAAAY too seriously

For the love of god there is not "they" when they're all ~anonymous~.
Sure some have actually enough brains to group up, and shit like Lulzsec even shook up some people a bit, but this current idea is a yet another dumb creation of a "spokesperson".
The joke: anonymous social network
AKA the Internet
Failure at its finest.
The sheep era is over.
Best part of that.
ITT: people trying to psychoanalyze and act like they understand anonymous to look cool in front of their peers.
Anonymous are ranking up there with the human appendix and chocolate teapots in terms of uselessness
Chocolate teapots actually sound tasty.
Yes, anonymous take themselves too seriously, and yes they are hopelessly optimistic in their belief that they will actually change something.
But they aren't the group of ~too 1337 4 u~ 12 year olds that they are perceived as, nor are they the depressed neckbeards that just want to fap and eat cheetos all day.
They are somewhat laughable, but at least they have an agenda, and they are pushing it. They are in the public eye, and if that agenda aligns with what people want it will end up coming true. They aren't going to pull some V for Vendetta shit out, but they may well nudge the US and everywhere else toward the kind of society that both they want and most intelligent people also want.

I bet without censorship there's going to be a ton of scat porn and trolling.

what are they going to do?
DDOS google?
what are they going to do?
DDOS google?
Google Docs. Now people will be unable to use their office clone. *Evil Laughter*
If they want to be free from the "tyranny of the government" why don't they just build an underwater city already?
