Cage can be pretty decent in some movies. His early films ( pre 2000) were his best years of acting but in his recent films he is rather... err robotic lol.
nic cage owns. watch adaptation you fools.
he's the antidote for any shitty script he's in, his acting makes it instantly entertaining
:( Poor fella
He's making obviously cheaply made movies with massively overblown budgets. It doesn't take a massive leap of logic to conclude that he's exploiting the creative process to pay him and his SNL pals massive amounts of cash.
BEST MOVIE EVER
I enjoyed Billy Madison, Happy Gillmore, and Big Daddy. His movies now are a shitfest.
he's the antidote for any shitty script he's in, his acting makes it instantly entertaining
This is true, he managed to make the wicker man into a dark comedy.
Well, this was expected I mean, Jack and Jill? Really? Who the fuck thought that was a good idea?
I'm sure he doesn't give a shit when he's watching his gold plated TV on his throne made from $100 bills. [editline]26th February 2012[/editline]
You NEED to watch this. http://redlettermedia.com/half-in-the-bag/jack-and-jill/ Explains everything.
Lmao, Zookeeper looks like fucking Citizen Kane.
Honestly Nick Cage is pretty damn cool imho. also Click/Waterboy/wedding singer/billy madison/little nicky/longest yard/big daddy/50 first dates/Happy Gilmore = all pretty classic funny (non-lazy) Sandler films. His company "Happy Madison" makes a boatload of films that don't actually have Adam in them. (i.e. deuce bigalow/Rob Schneider movies/zookeeper)
I didn't even think 'Happy Gilmore' was funny. The only Adam Sander performances I've actually enjoyed were 'Big Daddy' and '50 First Dates'
You didn't find Happy Gilmore amusing, but you thought that atrocity called "50 First Dates" was good? Wow.
The only Adam Sandler movies I even remotely enjoy were Little Nickey, Funny People and Billy Madison.
http://redlettermedia.com/half-in-the-bag/jack-and-jill/ Everyone should watch this.
I love half in the bag.
BEST MOVIE EVER
My reaction to everything from that movie.
The only Adam Sandler movies I even remotely enjoy were Little Nickey, Funny People and Billy Madison.
watch punch-drunk love
His movies just aren't funny anymore.
That's the sad part. I enjoyed a lot of his older movies.
Adam Sandler is the new Eddie Murphy. The transformation is quick and painless but soon, he will start playing EVERY role in his upcoming movies.
Adam Sandler is the new Eddie Murphy. The transformation is quick and painless but soon, he will start playing EVERY role in his upcoming movies.
the last eddie murphy movie was pretty funny, though
Eddie Murphy has just kind of played in some bad roles, but he at least still give it his all. Sandler was just lazy.
You can't deny it though, he has been in some pretty amazing work He must just be getting old and trying more crazy shit to keep up with the times I can't blame him.
I can't blame him.
I sure can
You didn't find Happy Gilmore amusing, but you thought that atrocity called "50 First Dates" was good? Wow.
Pfft, "50 First Dates" was charming as hell. Adam Sandler hasn't really done anything good since "click" though.
still my favorite actor.
oh god he wrote bucky larson?
still my favorite actor.
Good joke. Funnier than anything Adam Sandler has done in 15 years.
still my favorite actor.
and here is a man that has probably watched 2 movies in his entire life
No mention of punch drunk love yet? he has great potential for serious roles and it's underplayed
he isn't a terrible actor he is dieing out though
You NEED to watch this. http://redlettermedia.com/half-in-the-bag/jack-and-jill/ Explains everything.
Never heard of these guys before but I think I'm a fan after watching that
Cage can be pretty decent in some movies. I mean, good god, do you remember that scene where he first transforms.
^ Wow that looks incredibly similar to my face walking out of the movie theater after seeing Ghost Rider!
