Oh no. He fucking deserves it for the atrocity that was Buck Larson: Born to be a Star. The whole thing was an hour of penis jokes. Literally.
I thought everyone would find that hilarious.
I love his National Treasure movies. They're fun to watch
I generally avoid slapstick comedies, so I haven't seen most Adam Sandler and Jim Carrey movies (thank god for that) But I did like Sandler in reign over me.
:v: I did like some his older movies he was funny back then.
Punch Drunk Love is easily his best film, but it's also completely different from any others, because well...it's a Paul Thomas Anderson film.
No one ever mentions Eight crazy nights, I loved that movie to fucking death.

Posted this on my Twitter but... Film Budgets The Artist: $15 Million Moneyball: $50 Million War Horse: $66 Million Jack & Jill: $79 Million.
I saw Jack and Jill and enjoyed it
Jim Carrey isn't as bad as Sandler, from what I remember
Liar Liar and The Truman Show were phenomenally good films.
His performance as The Riddler in Batman Forever was lauded as the best of his career
I thought Grown Ups was pretty funny.
Adam Sandler has always made cookie-cutter films, it is just now he's starting to suck hard at bringing anything new to the table. I think that all started with Little Nicky and how it was pretty much one big fucking Popeyes commercial.
Popeye's Chicken saved the day! IT made the evil of Satan go away with it's magical love and ability to transform hell in to sunny grass. Eat popeyes chicken now!
the worst part of Jack and Jill, along with the lack of funny jokes (IN A COMEDY), was definitely the forced emotional scenes I mean, it's adam sandler dressed up as a woman, I DONT want to feel sad for him, what the fuck
I honestly thought Just Go With It was pretty good for a romantic comedy.
Posted this on my Twitter but... Film Budgets The Artist: $15 Million Moneyball: $50 Million War Horse: $66 Million Jack & Jill: $79 Million.
WTF.?! 79 MILL
WTF.?! 79 MILL
Also take in to account all of those are Oscar nominees, except J&J (obviously).
Sums up most of the movies.
My favorite Adam Sandler movie was when he played The Green Goblin in Spiderman
Jim Carrey is the shit! I watched The Truman Show yesterday, damn that was an amazing movie.
Good joke. Funnier than anything Adam Sandler has done in 15 years.
not a joke...
not a joke...
That's the joke.
Little Nicky is generally just a hilarious movie. I fucking love that movie. I used to love Click, but I've literally watched it to oblivion. I wasn't thinking when I bought it on Bluray (first Bluray I bought too). I think I've seen it over 30 times, partly because my younger brother would watch it almost daily because he loved it, and I would go "Oh what the hell, might as well watch it". I watched part 1 of that Half in the bag review. I don't know if I want to watch the second part because who the fuck does a 1hr review? Like they said in the beginning, it's obviously bad as fuck, but they didn't reach any real point on whatever they were going to talk about (other than the movie being bad).
not a joke...
ahhahaha stop it haha
If you guys like Jim Carrey so much, you should watch Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind if you haven't already. It's one of the best movie I've ever seen.
I can't remember a movie he made that was truly funny, as in not resorting to slapstick or other barbaric means of getting a chuckle out of the audience. Almost none of his movies actually contained a joke that was actually clever and not just "WHOA MAN THAT WAS SO SMART AND WITTY 10/10"

You didn't need to have to have deep understandings of the plot to get the full humor.

Exploitation at it's finest, Adam Sandler can go fuck himself now.
