Lmao at the bribe rumors. Talk about sore losers.
because the pats are totally legit and have never had a history of cheating. Il admit brady threw a hell of a game and it was close all around. That call though really bothers me. Even someone with a very basic understanding of football could see how bad of a call that was.
Yeah, that was just a perplexingly bad call.
Lmao at the bribe rumors. Talk about sore losers.
It numbs my mind that ANYONE could make a play so stupid. EVER. That's like a Plan D, and they just decided to fuck Plans A-C. It's so incredibly off the mark for ANYONE to OK a call like that. It could still very well be a bad call but then how the fuck could they of gotten this far in the season?
Yeah, that was just a perplexingly bad call.
That's the type of call that gets people fired.
Of all the plays that they can do, they picked the worst one. Every since 12, fan, spectator and even the fucking people that came to the parties just to 'watch the commercials' knew it was bad. [editline]1st February 2015[/editline] Overall though, as a Seattle fan, this was still an incredible feat for our franchise to go back-to-back on Superbowl appearances. Until next season Seattle.
I was so ecstatic at the end of this game GO PATS!
can someone explain what happened to someone who doesn't know shit about football
Didn't see a serious answer, so I'll answer it for you and others. It was the final minute of the game, the Seahawks who are trying to score was seriously close in winning the Super Bowl against the Patriots. They were very close to the goal line and had 3 tries to get it done, with each inch they can run but not score gets them closer to the goal line. They have this beastly man called Lynch who is known for running down the ball, in fact that his specialty. So, if they wanted to win the game, all they literally had to do was give the ball to Lynch who would have told everyone in the Patriots to fuck the right off and run into the scoring zone, winning them the game they worked so hard for. In that distance, I don't think Lynch needed a second try. Instead however, they went full retard and decided to throw the ball which has so much risks compared to giving the ball to Lynch to score. The worst case came to be realized when the ball was thrown to a very crowded area, which allowed the Patriots to grab it instead causing an 'interception', and win them the game because they can simply run the clock out. To make an easier metaphor, imagine trying to park your car into a large open garage with your car inches away from being inside of it. All you need to do is go forward a bit. Then you immediately go left for no reason and crash into your house.
The Seahawks saw that they had both a square peg and a square hole, so they decided to use the triangle instead and lost.
Wow. That's a perfect analogy
Game of throws
the worst call in NFL super bowl history
Hate the Pats, but I hate Seattle more, so I was happy with the outcome.
I'm a Colts and a Packers fan, so to see everyone mad about this game just makes me happy inside, a bit of revenge :v:
Why. WHY. HOW?! WHY WOULD ANYBODY EVER THROW EVER IN THAT SITUATION?!
I like my friends description of the event. When you have a running back that is the metaphorical equivalent to a refrigerator with tank treads, and throw the ball when you need to go a couple of feet, someone, somewhere, needs to be shot.
I don't know why its so hard to believe They got cocky and arrogant because of all those passes they were pulling out of their ass and it finally caught up to them get over it
That interception brought a tear to my eye when it happened. It was incredible. Also the Superbowl commercials this year were the worst they've been in a while. Especially that Nationwide one, holy christ.
Holy shit most crucial part of the game and they could've easily won the game, The Patriots needed a miracle to not lose And they threw it for no reason at all, giving the Patriots their miracle. WHY
Holy shit most crucial part of the game and they could've easily won the game, The Patriots needed a miracle to not lose And they threw it for no reason at all, giving the Patriots their miracle. WHY
As Saxon said, they got real cocky because of those last couple of plays. That cockiness bit them in the ass. My other thought is that they didn't want to go with the obvious call to fake the Pats out, even though it was like 1 yard. Shit call either way.
Really only wanted the Seahawks to win so it'd be two in a row. Otherwise I don't really care who won. That lucky catch could have saved them the game, but then they had to go and screw it up by doing something done. It just frustrates me that it was practically their's, and then they (literally) threw it away. At least the game was better than last years, grats Pats, the fuck were you thinking, Hawks?

I bet Carroll thought "Haha, everyone in the world would have Lynch run it in, so therefore I will not! I'm clever that way."
As an Australian watching this game I was gobsmacked that there were ads mostly every 30 seconds of broadcast and then back to a minute 30 of commercials (not American, Australian) I couldn't understand what was going on either, looks confusing I think I'll stick to rugby and NRL
[snip] The look speaks 1,000 words, no?
It looks like the camera captured that exact moment when teeth-gritting determination turns in to soul-crushing heartbreak. :v:

I wonder how it feels getting ejected from the Super Bowl with only 18 seconds remaining in the game. :v:
I think they were like "lol everyone is gonna try to tackle Lynch so we'll just throw it lol" "...oh"
Butler stole that pass, but the best steal that night was when Tortoise stole Hare's girl!

As a Seattle native, I aint even mad at the Pats. I'm sure there were a lot of thrilled Pats fans when they got that intercept. I'm mad at whoever made that call. Like if we had lost because Lynch (somehow) couldn't get it past that goal line in those last 30 seconds I would have been fine with that. If we had been steamrolled like the Broncos last year, I would have been fine with that. But to get all our hopes up with that miracle catch, then cock everything up at the last possible second is unforgivable. I wanted that game to be how we won, and the Broncos game to be how we lost. Not the other way around.
