incase you fancy a punt yourself
Brilliant. I bought it too. Motion sensors and everything are already built into the phone. I just wonder whether it has enough processing power. (Galaxy S3)
Binaural Surround Sound
wow so it has two drivers? amazing
I like how it compares itself to DK2 version of Oculus, which is still just the development kit.
Well how are they meant to compare their stuff to the consumer version when it's not out yet.
I wanna know the resolution and the lag compared to oculus
Palmer put it best. VR games on consoles would either be laggy crap or they'd just straight up look like crap.
I remember that
so their only seeing point is worthless gimmicks and it doesn't weight as much kind of.. :v:
I don't get the need for an audiojack
a VR headset should 100% be VR. Let the HEADPHONES do the work, not the face-monitor
Now why in the hell would I want my screen to be transparent? Doesn't that defeat the whole immersion thing?
You can toggle it instead of you putting thing down from your head.. :)

Huh? I'd much rather use my audiophile headphones than be stuck with some sub-par internal set.

this is exactly why oculus avoided including any sort of headset. Everybody has a different idea of comfort and quality, headsets break down over time, and being forced to use built in audio drivers over your computer's main stuff or a special audio card can be a huge hit as well.
Don't worry about that. People can say what they want but the facts are no one even knows what the CV1 will be like. Chances are it'll be more than sufficient. People don't know shit about the cv1 yet.
We know some facts, don't forget:
-Higher than 1080p
-90hz or higher
-A confirmed "secret" feature that hasn't been revealed yet
-Higher than 110 degree FoV
-Higher positional tracking FoV
The Totem is basically a shittier DK2. CV1 will be way ahead.
90° FOV? Fuck no bro, not for me I guess
