All this talk of left and right wing, Labour and the Tories are right winged last time I checked.

same bullshit with a different book cover over it

What's so racist about them, hating the EU is getting more and more common.
And stopping immigration for a couple of year to let the infrastructure and immigrants settle in properly sounds like a decent suggestion.

nothing racist about them if you agree with their "the holocaust kinda maybe didn't happen"
then again you are brage nyman, you'd probably criticize the BNP for not being tough enough on muslim voters
come on BNP, kick those people who look a bit different than me out

They are, Labour are just more centre-right than right.
i want the old labour back
the one that took the huge poll hit and decriminalized homosexuality in a spell of dictatorship
The greens are bad because they want to get rid of Nuclear power.
so that one notch against an otherwise reasonable host of policies is enough to make you dislike them? if i didn't support any party that disagreed with me on even one issue, i would not be able to vote

We need to use Nuclear Power and get rid of our Coal/Gas need for power plants and if we don't completely change over soon then we're just going to be spending too much money on hydrocarbon fuels in the future.

I don't give a flying fuck if the holocaust is true or not, won't do much difference today anyway.
BNP want shit to happen but they are retarded, i had probably voted on them if UKIP didnt exist and if i were a British citizen.
But UKIP actually make sense, but liberals will go fucking ape shit before they are able to change anything.

Immigration isn't the problem, its all the lazy people in Britain who don't want to do shitty jobs, but complain when they don't have them.

This.
There are a lot of jobs available, people just do not want to do them. Then they complain when someone who does want a job (from another country) comes and does it something no one in this country will do.
That was awesome. :buddy:
The thing is, he is entirely right.
So much happens in the EU that affects us, but we have so little say in it. This can't be democracy.

I'm sorry, you're 18. What experience are you basing that comment on?
I'm nearly 22. I had a hell of a hard time finding work, and only got it in the end through persistence and a hell of a lot of luck. Even then it's only a one year contract, so come December I will be unemployed again. My friends are also unemployed and struggling to find work. All my co-workers are pissing themselves about losing their jobs. I spoke to one person who said that her son, after leaving uni, spent two years looking for work.
So many people on Facepunch claim that there is loads of work available and yet they still haven't left education or had any experience looking for post-education work.
Anyone who says there is plenty of work has their heads in the clouds.

This is such a stupid post, are you even at the age where you can get a job?
What's so racist about them, hating the EU is getting more and more common.
are you implying that if the consensus is that it is not racist, then it's not racist?
Only jobs I can find are part time shifts which are under 25 hours a week and minimum wage, problem is employers only want to people who have a lot of experience or will work for cheap.
All this talk of left and right wing, Labour and the Tories are right winged last time I checked.
Labour is still left wing (less leftwing than it used to be because of Blair, but still centre-left at least), Tories are rightwing.
As far as I aware New Labour is a near model based off largely on Thatcherism.

Immigrants are vitally important to the UK as they take up many back-breaking, horrific jobs that people just don't want to do.
Or maybe a lot of them simply can't.
By the way, people going "HURR IMMIGRATION" fail to see the fact that immigrants tend to work in jobs that Native British people (if there even is such a thing) don't want to do, but that's because of our benefits system meaning that if you're a single mum with a kid to look after, it's more expensive to accept a low-paid job and have to hire for your kid to be looked after than it is to simply take unemployment benefit.

If I was to offer you £3 an hour to help muck out pigs, would you accept it? If you're being given the equivalent of a £10 an hour job for doing nothing, you'd be bloody stupid to accept it! That's the reason why we have this whole issue.
What you don't seem to understand is that because of exchange rates, £3 is a lot of money for some people. They can come here, work for dirt cheap and then leave with (what would be in their home country) a decent amount of money. It's not that people don't want to do the jobs - it's that the jobs aren't worth it because there are other people coming in who are happy to do it for a pittance.
Also, everyone needs to just stop assuming that the majority people are claiming jobseekers allowance just because they don't want to work. Firstly, there are no grounds to make that claim. Secondly, if it was the case then we would have a national scandal on our hands - which we don't.
As far as I aware New Labour is a near model based off largely on Thatcherism.
It contains Thatcherist elements, but saying it is based upon Thatcherism is false.
By and large, Labour is still centre-left.
I've actually been on job seekers allowance and its not as easy as people think.
You get around £100 for two weeks as a teenager (more so as an adult), but on the second week at a specific time you have to 'sign on' which involves going in and showing the people what jobs you have been looking for and with what proof because they check them out, you have to at least apply to a minimum of three to five jobs and give descriptions on what places you've looked at and other places. They constantly try to pressure you into taking horrible jobs, the people at the centre tried to make me take a job in Leeds once, and I live in Surrey that was some factory job working on minimum wage and starting at 5am, they throw hundreds of crap jobs at you that simply cannot pay enough for what they're worth (especially someone like me who relies on public transport) and especially the hours were stupidly short. They make you go to events for jobs and little teaching sessions and if you are on it for a long time they end up trying to make you do skills training.
But its true to say I would be getting more money if I was on job seekers with some of the jobs that are around (after tax and travel costs are put into things).
