The ones who will come to Britain (gypsies), I assure you, will not be looking for jobs. The Romanians that had any interest to work in Britain are already there, it's easier for us to go to Spain or Italy for work since we're a latin country and understand the language.
They'll come to take all the state benefits and beg for shitloads of money, just so they can go back to Romania and build their huge-ass mansions that are ugly as fuck.

I live in a similar area (way down south though), and my old man can't get a job either. The majority of the populace can though (although there is some playing with figures - I don't think students count towards the unemployed, as do some other groups of people).

From what I've heard Yorks quite a nice place. The North just gets a bad reputation for all the Toxteth riots and stuff like that but that rarely happens now. Recently Liverpool was declared one of Britain's safest cities so clearly the North is getting better.

Hey I'm just going on the fact there were literally about 5 or 6 none white kids at my school of around 1,200. Hell I think we only have about 3 black kids here altogether at the moment, a real step up from the last 3 years single black person.
Oh and the half turkish guy in our year who got told to "go back to your own country" by some chavs on bikes, despite the fact he was born here and his mums scottish, but then they're chavs so its not like they have brains to reason with.

Well nowhere except london and certain areas of some metropolitan areas are you going to get anything approaching even racial distribution - that's just how it is, it's not because all the blacks have been driven out of your area by marauding chavs. It's really variable tbh - there were about 4 black people in my secondary school but then I went to sixth form a few miles down the road and something approaching half of the students were black or asian. Now I'm at uni the balance has changed again. Then again I do live in Birmingham but I could walk around my local area for a week and not see a black person.

Well yeah that's what I said, there's nothing up here to draw immigrants in, most will stay in London were the work is.
