Rather than complain about the millionaires and billionaires of the global economy, they choose to bully a few trying to find something even remotely prospective. And that's barely prospective in and of itself too! Nevermind that by definition, this pathetic slave machine is throwing "shit -- i.e. money -- at a wall" to places like Ethiopia and Africa with poor bastards barely surviving 12 months and constantly reproducing to self-perpetuate. My point is that money doesn't solve these problems. That's what the HRA is for: it's supposed to give all member states citizens free access to essential food, water and shelter and some given affordable amount of electricity/heat. It's supposed to eradicate poverty you fools! Stop complaining about "the needy and unneedy!" Either you state that you work or die, or that everyone deserves free minimum sustenance! (yes, it would reduce population growth too: if you understood and observed the science of reproductive biology, you would notice that reproduction declines in environments of greater perceived sustenance) [editline]28th January 2013[/editline] It's not so much about taxing the rich but more so about giving everyone what they need, regardless of how wealthy they are. Monarchs can still survive, so if you still enjoy having a queen and country that too can still persist. Otherwise, enjoy the riots and crime from the artificially induced poverty.
It's no use telling them that tho since every time Balkanites were saying that everyone else called them racist. It's hilarious tho how they support them while they're in our countries while they make a 180 degree change once it's about their countries.
Interesting how well you can predict how other people react, it's almost like you're incredibly condescending about other people's intelligence by presenting anecdotes as indisputable fact.
Oh, I must of forgot the solution of working! You give those who keep the "wheels" of society moving the greatest of sustenance, i.e. those who provide you that sustenance. The arbitrary money you cultivate from the very "force" -- "power" -- of "law", is then attracted by other non-working folk and then you give life to the free market.
I'd much rather be in a western European country then anywhere else.
Shame it probably won't work.
Well, then be prepared to have slums with houses made up of garbage appear at London's peripheries and lots of gypsy women on the streets with babies in their hands begging, and lots of little kids forced by their parents to go all day through the city and beg. They will find ways to make money, be sure of that. Maybe they'll even go to the rural areas and start stealing copper from the wires and metal from the train tracks. They're used to that, that's why the railway infrastructure in Romania is so shit.
Yeah, but there's nothing preventing them doing that now, or was before hand. All that's changing is people from Romania and Bulgaria don't need permission to work in the UK from the government any more - they've always had freedom to migrate ever since they've been part of the EU. Yet I don't see 'slums with houses made up of garbage' appearing outside of London or anywhere else.
The Lake District: Come on down, you can climb our gorgeous mountain range...you weren't hoping to do anything else were you?
Don't come to Earth, it sucks
I love it here in northern ireland, don't plan on moving any time soon
This, northern ireland is awesome.
This, northern ireland is awesome.
If nothing else they have Giant's Causeway, and that's pretty rad.
am i the only one who actually enjoys the rain? it's not as bad as people make it out to be
I love the rain. For a particular reason, but counting that reason out, it's pretty awesome indeed.

(Never mind how that relates to the British government actively discouraging foreigners from entering the country) Like, how does asking about budgets make one a pathetic slave and why are you talking about Africans?
I like how you guys are talking about jobs. The ones who will come to Britain (gypsies), I assure you, will not be looking for jobs. The Romanians that had any interest to work in Britain are already there, it's easier for us to go to Spain or Italy for work since we're a latin country and understand the language. They'll come to take all the state benefits and beg for shitloads of money, just so they can go back to Romania and build their huge-ass mansions that are ugly as fuck. Idk about Bulgarians tho.
FP thinks they will all get jobs and be honest citizens while calling you and the rest of Europe racist, and say the news article is racist aswell and just wants an all british utopia. Again.
It could be worse, you could be living in Australia.

More importantly, immigrants certainly don't commit crimes because they are Romanian or because they are Bulgarian, or whatever the case may be. If anyone's calling the article racist it's because the idea that immigrants bring nothing but crime and welfare dependency is one of prejudice at least, even if it isn't overt racism.

Without sounding racist (at least to me), I highly doubt no problems would ensue with a sudden overflow of people, be it any "kind" of people. I don't think even nationals alone would have proper conditions.

There's rarely been any point in history where a sudden influx of immigrants has had no problems at all, whether it be through overt racism from nationals, such was the case with 'yellow peril' here in the US at the turn of the 20th century, or more subtle criticism, as is the case now. Point is, no matter what your suggestion against it is, you're going to have a very hard time not being discriminatory on the basis of nationality or race, or at least coming off that way.
And FP certainly doesn't helps at all on this, but I digress.
Well don't misunderstand. I don't agree with the notion of closing down borders or deporting immigrants in general, really.
I live in America. It's still a step up.
The women are whores there. (User was banned for this post ("Sexism & Xenophobia" - Megafan))
This might sound stupid to people from Britain, but the only reason why I regularly visit Britain is because of the royal family only.
Rain is nice.
I am not sure how rain works over in the UK, but rain in the south of Ireland is damn depressing. It's like a flurry of drizzle that never stops, it's never heavy enough to make it interesting, but it certainly gets you soaked either way. Even if there is heavy rain, it only lasts an hour usually, and I think it has been months since we had any thunder or lightning. Back in the US, I used to love the rain (and still do). Here, it's just awful.
Interesting how well you can predict how other people react, it's almost like you're incredibly condescending about other people's intelligence by presenting anecdotes as indisputable fact.
Only because you think you know more than me. You cannot tell me how the situation is here since your only source about lifestyle in here is media, while I'm living here for two decades. And ye of course I'll predict when it happens in every thread ever. You have no idea how many gypsies screw over Balkan countries, considering they abuse schengen visa and go massively to seek out asylums just to leach of another state instead of their current one (plus they make that country look bad).
As an expat, I have to agree with this. I honestly can't see why people wouldn't want to emmigrate somewhere sunny/laid back at least. The UK is cold and wet. There is a lower standard of living now in the most built up parts while everyone is miserable and crime is rife.
Spain and Portugal are horrible dumps for immigrants, France isn't much better, dunno about Italy though. Who would emigrate to Greece?
Spain and Portugal are horrible dumps for immigrants, France isn't much better, dunno about Italy though. Who would emigrate to Greece?
Situation in Greece may look bad, but at least the people are happy there (at least in northern Greece). It's not that bad of a place.
Oh come on, just look at the work available, down south you can get paid a decent wage, the north east has absolutely nothing.
That's the fault of a certain female ex-Prime Minister.
