You wouldn't call 600,000 people coming to the UK each year mass? Any one within the EU allowed access? 160,000 cases of immigrant just going missing? That there are no criminal checks at all?
Also given the very relaxed visa rules anyone can enter the UK and not leave after their 6 months has expired.
And the first hand example of walking straight through border control to and from France without having to show my passport, along with everyone else boarding the train. Entering the UK via airport is as simple as showing your passport, whereas inn the US there are full finger print scanners and you have your picture taken upon entry.

so? the UK is in the EU, so it abides by the rules of the EU - migration within is free and easy, which provides little to no negative problems for the UK due to the benefits it gets from being in it

Well, i'm from balkans and it's not great, but if i had 2 choices, move to UK or stay, i would stay...I would like to see some stats on suicide rates in UK compared to more southern european countries...that weather man, i would be depressed all the time.
