The New Fastest Production Car In The World Is The Hennessey Venom GT

I really wanna see The Stig take this around the track.
I've been admiring Hennessey for a few months now. They tune cars to fucking amazing specs. And right here in the good ol' USA.
Jay Leno has a fantastic Youtube channel with videos on pretty much any awesome car you can think of. Here's one on the Venom GT:

Also I rated late not because there is already a thread, but just because the news did in fact break last week. Not that you are exceptionally late or anything though.
It's a G meter. Measuring the forces of gravity as the car accelerates, if it were cornering it'd move from side to side
Nope, gravity stays constant. G-meters are accelerometers that measure the change of velocity in relation to the Earth's constant gravitational acceleration of ~9.81m/s^2. If the car hits 0.5g's the cars velocity increases or decreases by around 5 m/s every second.
So what happens if you drive full speed with this car straight ahead, and then you yank the steering wheel to the side as hard as you can?
Welcome to the last 5 - 10 seconds of your life!
If power's what you want, then you can find these nutbags accross the country from hennessey, NRE.

Engine so powerful it broke a 60 000$ dyno when it blew past 2000 HP, and then crapped out 2240 hp before topping out due to lack of airflow in the dyno (it's currently in australia, terrifying little children, probably)

Same company ?
Even if it were the same company, I highly doubt these two products would be marketed hand in hand.
what about this car?

I've ran out of tissues.
It's so small, how will Jeremy Clarkson fit in it? And how fast will it go around the track?
I didn't know the previous record holder was a Swedish Koenigsegg, thought it'd be that Bugatti car. Once another proof the Kingdom of Sweden's greatness.

fastest production car you tool, as in right out of the factory.
That Supra's probably tuned to hell and back.

The supra from hell is a supra with a single massive turbo that pulls 1600 BHP and indeed goes like fuck. But it isn't a production car. the turbo on that thing is barely even legal as-is

Probably really shitty.
Never beating the Ariel Atom anyway.

Koenigsegg also has pretty fast cars. If it weren't for the Veyron Super Sport version by Bugatti, they would still have the lead.
At least their cars look MILES better than the Veyron.

You almost can't compare them.
The Atom V8 should have like half the weight of the Venom GT, or at least something close to it. That along with the engine and the smart engineering behind it make it insanely fast around a circuit.
It's basically a bigger cart on steroids and road legal.
