I have a beta account. It was fun while it lasted, so ill invest in spotify premium. Its a brilliant program, it would be stupid no to continue using something this good. Much cheaper than buying individual CD's and stuff

Bye spotify. Hello Grooveshark.
Well, I'm going back to grooveshark. Hopefully grooveshark won't end up doing the same.
Meh, they keep pulling music off the service that I listen to, so I have been using it less and less. Then there are the badly tagged songs (album version, radio version etc in song titles) and the country restrictions on individual songs, and incomplete artist collections. I prefer to have the music on my computer or at home anyway, but the aforementioned things don't make it more attractive.
snip - whoops

It's really sad that they have to do this. Spotify have become a part of my daily routine. I bet some of you guys would agree with me.
[QUOTE=rampageturke 2;29531813]whoohoo gee im glad grooveshark is still around, maybe i will listen to some daft punk. hmm, can't seem to think of a song, maybe I shall scroll through their albums [img_thumb]http://gyazo.com/fb3bd2232f3a041d42512bd53fd067fa.png[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://gyazo.com/5e2d0e8bcc7175f4cb9389ae95ceb875.png[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://gyazo.com/c2e5d59f8a8539436adb40649412693d.png[/img_thumb] :crossarms:[/QUOTE] Meh. Your case is specific. I usually know what song I want to listen to.
Pandora Master Race.

[QUOTE=Thund3rdome;29543972]Most likely the dumbest ban I have ever seen.[/QUOTE] Quite true. I could have meant anything by that, warez or not. [editline].[/editline] Linux distros aren't the only thing you can get legally, for free, via torrents. Like obscure bands music. [editline]1st May 2011[/editline] In other news, it's now the first of may. I've listened to a song 5 times in a row and it hasn't stopped me at all. Maybe beta accounts aren't affected after all?
What is spotify
[img]http://imgur.com/w41Lt.png[/img] Bye, Spotify.
[QUOTE=ElectronicG19;29545694][img_thumb]http://imgur.com/w41Lt.png[/img_thumb] Bye, Spotify.[/QUOTE] Where's that shown? I don't see that on my version. [editline].[/editline] Nevermind, I see it now.

[QUOTE=Seppe;29545786]Then you probably registered after November 2010.[/QUOTE] I registered in January 2009.

fuck me, where am I going to get nice music now [editline]1st May 2011[/editline] [QUOTE=doonbugie2;29544954]What is spotify[/QUOTE] some program that you can use to listen music, it has a very nice quality and really fast. But now they put this limit that you can only listen to the same song 5 times, max.
What a load of shit. I had been thinking about going onto their £5 a month Unlimited plan, but now that they're trying to force me to do it I won't bother.
so is this 10 hours a month or week?
i hate spotify for this, it's a true dick move. it was always advertised as the music lover's free service to music, but they've scrapped that now and are essentially forcing their users to pay. of course £5 is cheaper than buying CDs individually but i don't think they understand that no one is gonna listen to a song less than 5 times every couple of weeks. either way it's £5 a month is still cheaper than buying CDs

It would have been better if they just put an ad on at the end of every song or something.
Yeah, it's the principle of being forced to pay. I was going to get premium, so I could get the app on my phone and stuff, but now I'm being forced to, I won't bother.
What the hell Spotify, it just changed from 10h to 5 times a song max. Even though I joined Spotify during the beta. Now they're just fucking me over.

I've just listened to a song in a playlist way more than five times, and it's not giving me an error -yet-. Maybe the rules haven't taken effect yet?
Really really really dickish move by them. [editline]1st May 2011[/editline] Alas, the music I listen to aint available anywhere else so... Gonna get premium, damn worth it.

I want offline songs for when my internet goes out :D
