In a sense, yes, but also not really. The talks are to create a free-trade agreement, if they get suspended, nothing will change in our current trade policy. But having this agreement in place would be very beneficial, so hopefully this threat of suspension of the talks will knock some sense into the US when it comes to overreaching espionage against its own allies.

They export almost 100k Euros worth in goods then what they import from America, America is its #1 trading partner so it will still hurt both sides.
