Brinkmanship. Ballsy move by the EU.
Glad they aren't putting up with our government's bullshit.
I can't really tell if this is bad or REALLY bad for the USA... How will this effect me? Politics really isn't my strong point. I realize I'm dumb for not knowing politics too well, and all you've been saying is that its BAD... But how? That's what I'm asking.
Somebody needs to show USA it's place, finally.
glad to see you're so willing to see large amounts of people suffer for something out of their control.
Erm...EU..you should maybe do a little homework first. Suspending that means quite a steep price hike in a lot of goods. Most notably cars, since it's cheaper to build them here and ship them there. It will have fuck all of an effect on us, though. Your move, EU. We'll just laugh.
What the fuck do you mean "we"? This is clearly in response to espionage perpetrated by our government. Unless you think that's okay, there's no reason to laugh regardless of the economic implications.
Is this a good thing for me or not? Seriously it's weird for people to say "Yeah this'll show America what for!", when I'm an American probably going to feel the effect of this.
This is fucking ridiculous. We're all going to financially starve to death because our government is fucking retarded and can't stop shoving their cock into other countries cookie-jars.
B-b-b-but we have to ensure ~christian values around the world~

The talks are to create a free-trade agreement, if they get suspended, nothing will change in our current trade policy. But having this agreement in place would be very beneficial, so hopefully this threat of suspension of the talks will knock some sense into the US when it comes to overreaching espionage against its own allies.
Probably mean something like this? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_the_European_Union#Trade Funny, because the USA imports much more from the EU than the EU imports from the USA. (See link above) Your move, USA. We'll just laugh.
They export almost 100k Euros worth in goods then what they import from America, America is its #1 trading partner so it will still hurt both sides.

That aside, do you really think the EU doesn't do anything for the US? It would effect you lot the same, if not more. The EU is quite big you know.
