are you seriously saying that the 2011 definition of commerce is the same as the 1787 definition? if so, you're terribly wrong
Really? Really? HOW, is it wrong? Just because you say it is? So essentially you're saying that non-commerce, the act of not participating in commerce/ the act of buying something, is actually participating in commerce? I'm not buying it. Edit: Actually, I just checked. the 2011 definition is the same.
Definition of COMMERCE 1: social intercourse : interchange of ideas, opinions, or sentiments 2: the exchange or buying and selling of commodities on a large scale involving transportation from place to place
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/commerce
1) use tags instead of release so I can quot your post without getting rid of all that shit. 2) This doesn't mean that half the USA is against it, it means half the governments comprising the USA are against it. Some of those states are hardly populated compared to the states that are for it(nebraska and the dakotas have hardly any population compared to maryland, new york, and the east coast in general). 3) Good, this bill needs to get scrapped ASAP.
2: That's true, though the states suing combined represent 143,025,892 U.S citizens, which is 46.587% of the US population
Ahhg I fucking hate the damn healthcare debate. Stupidity goes rampant from everyone and they just start saying the biggest bullshit without any forethought and with little perception of reality. On all sides of the issues. Its like extremeist fuckwits are moths drawn to a flame.
2: That's true, though the states suing combined represent 143,025,892 U.S citizens, which is 46.587% of the US population
Well then, I retract my statement. It's almost half.
Here, I made a informative Map
I hate how Washington is considered a Blue State. It really isn't an accurate representation of the state. In reality it's basically Seattle and Tacoma that really create that majority. Most of the state is actually pretty republican.
According to Wikipedia Washington is +10.774 points for Democrats based on the average margins of victory of the last 5 presidential elections
This is caused by a relatively small area compared to the rest of the state. Most of Washington is pretty rural and rural areas tend to be Republican or Conservative.
This is caused by a relatively small area compared to the rest of the state. Most of Washington is pretty rural and rural areas tend to be Republican or Conservative.
Deal with it
Deal with it
Why? It isn't representative of the state. That is in itself a type of tyranny. People in Spokane pay taxes that fund Seattle, which is not right at all.

So much biased retard, so little space. I CAN'T BREATHE!!! Every time i read "obamacare" and "communist" a mudfall of essence of retard and uneducated hick just flies in and forces me to the wall. How about people without basic clues just shut the fuck up? this is why the world thinks America is borderline "retarded and proud". People just speak before thinking or even without knowing what they're talking about.
No
well okay then accept it. also did is glaber a troll or not? Still haven't figured this out.
Here, I made a informative Map [img_thumb]http://www.1337upload.net/files/0USA-states.PNG[/img_thumb]
Pennsylvania isn't a democratic majority state, well at least not anymore.
itt: mad democrats sorry the obamacare sucks

I don't even know what the fuck is happening.
itt: mad democrats sorry the obamacare sucks
Republicans made it worse than it should've been
I say we scrap this whole free market thing and circling around the issue and just go straight to socialism. What do you say Zeke?
Uh the USA is pretty much socialist already.
Uh the USA is pretty much socialist already.
It's ironically not to far from the truth. We have a free market that is regulated and critical things like social security are running. Healthcare should be a no-brainer. Medicine is expensive, even too expensive for those who are working. Why should someone who works be denied even the simplest healthcare? People without healthcare just cause people with healthcare to have their premiums to raise in price, that's just a fancy way of saying that we are already indirectly paying for those without healthcare. It's this ugly double standard that these healthcare reform nay sayers are running. Hospitals are obligated to treat people without healthcare, and when the patients being treated can't afford it, the money is eventually coming out of someone else's pocket. Guess what? That someone is us indirectly. Sorry, healthcare is just one of those things that needs to be held up by everyone. People who have the money should be able to reap benefits, but this is just not one of them.
Make it a tax, not this unconstitutional requirement we pay some asshole insurance company or pay a fine
I suppose the idea is that more money flowing into the coffers of insurance companies, the cheaper things will get. But the day I believe in that... I think a program of subsidies is in place until 2014. Heck if I've followed the US in ages.
I'm going to make a simple fact. I'm not going to praise anybody or call anybody stupid. I'll make one, simple fact that's unbiased and pretty damning of the actions of these states. America: Most expensive healthcare, while also being worse than most other rich countries. (30th) America: You are trying to keep it that way. Stop it.
republicans: maintain human suffering of the lower class at any cost
republicans: maintain human suffering of the lower class at any cost
You mean at no cost :smug:
Make it a tax, not this unconstitutional requirement we pay some asshole insurance company or pay a fine
That is sort of the point in this healthcare reform, that it is a baseline tax that everyone pays. People who make more should be able to get extra benefits or public option if they choose.
