there can only be one kitkat
You can always get wrong: Instead of a Development Kit you get a Development Kitten.

Give me a break Google! If the next Nexus phone doesn't ship with a complementary kitkat bar I will be disappointed.
KitKats are actually safe and do not contain nut traces
http://www.thehersheycompany.com/brands/kit-kat-wafer-bars/milk-chocolate.aspx Not in the US at any rate.
ALLERGY INFORMATION: MANUFACTURED IN A FACILITY THAT ALSO PROCESSES PEANUTS.

Did anybody ever skip an entire version of android?
I skipped Honeycomb, never had one on Cupcake, and will be skipping Jellybean
Heresy
They sell Nestle branded ones at The World Market
Going by the packaging on the Android.com website, it would be the Hershey one. Which makes sense, since Hershey makes them here.

I'm disappointed with myself for having taken this long to realize that the names start with letters in order.
I'm disappointed with myself for having taken this long to realize that the names start with letters in order.
I didn't realize until ics came around
Two more versions and we'll get Android Nutella!
Nah we'll get Android Nutter Butter
I'm disappointed with myself for having taken this long to realize that the names start with letters in order.
Where were applesauce and bubblegum though Hurry up and release android 1.4 and 1.3, google
I haven't had a kit kat in ages and this thread has made me really want to eat one.
I haven't had a kit kat in ages and this thread has made me really want to eat one.
I bought a king size today
So after KitKat, we'll get Lollipop, then maybe Minstrels or Maltesers,
Except they don't call them Maltesers in the US so they probably wouldn't call it that. [editline]4th September 2013[/editline] Did they have names before? Like for A and B?
I was at the store this morning and I bought a KitKat.. then I come back from work to read this. COINCIDENCE OR?
Why would they not use Key Lime Pie :(
I honestly thought it was going to be Key Lime Pie.
I honestly thought it was going to be Key Lime Pie.
Everybody did
Except they don't call them Maltesers in the US so they probably wouldn't call it that. [editline]4th September 2013[/editline] Did they have names before? Like for A and B?
The BBC article says that they contacted Nestle's UK press office which to me suggests it was someone at Google in the UK so it could happen. Also I don't think 1 and 2 were ever publicly released.
Its insane when you think about it that 1/7th of the entire worlds population has activated an Android phone. I know 1bn activations isn’t 1bn individual people but it is still a little crazy.
I activated android like 50 times. Legit.
I'm responsible for at least ten of those activations alone HTC G1 (Cupcake-Donut) Motorola Droid (Eclair-Gingerbread) Motorola Droid 2 (Gingerbread-Ice Cream Sandwich) Motorola Droid 3 (Ice Cream Sandwich) Motorola Droid Bionic (Ice Cream Sandwich-Jelly Bean 4.1) Samsung Droid Charge (Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0) Samsung Galaxy S2 (Gingerbread-Jellybean 4.1) Samsung Galaxy Note (Gingerbread-Jellybean 4.1) Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Ice Cream Sandwich-Jellybean 4.3) Asus Nexus 7 (Ice Cream Sandwich-Jellybean 4.3) LG Nexus 4 (Ice Cream Sandwich-Jellybean 4.3) soon to be Nexus 5 (KitKat) [editline]3rd September 2013[/editline]
I activated android like 50 times. i hope kit kat crispys have the same promo. i like them more than regular kitkat
This seems really strange to me, even moreso that there wasn't any money changing hands, so it's a weird marketing/sponsorship deal.
Where were applesauce and bubblegum though Hurry up and release android 1.4 and 1.3, google
Alpha and Beta?
There's no generic candy name (I can't think of any) starting with the letter K, so Google makes a partnership with another company so it doesn't have to break the sequence of names on Android versions. KitKat got a deal because its starts with the letter K. Two more versions and we'll get Android Nutella!
Key Lime Pie
Where were applesauce and bubblegum though Hurry up and release android 1.4 and 1.3, google
AFAIK Google bought Android after these releases, and those releases were initial builds from when Android Inc. Owned it.
