Martial, ffs. It's martial.
This reminds me of "Black Rambo" and how they stopped and searched tons of people forcefully and also actually shot and killed the wrong guy during the search.
I wonder if people are trying to ditch their shit while their going house to house.
i think if they come across something unrelated that's illegal they cops cant do anything because they are searching your home for a killer and nothing else. that's how search warrants work at least
The governor, but he hasn't.
Martial, ffs. It's martial.
Marital? But we only just met
i think if they come across something unrelated that's illegal they cops cant do anything because they are searching your home for a killer and nothing else. that's how search warrants work at least
so what if they walk into a house full of dead bodies and some guy watching tv? "Oh, nothing here after all. good day sir."
They have a search warrant for thee town.
so what if they walk into a house full of dead bodies and some guy watching tv? "Oh, nothing here after all. good day sir."
No that is probable cause.
New details, 7-11 robbery is unconnected to the two suspects. But the two suspects did kill the MIT officer. That is what set off this whole chain of events.
Even if they can't do anything, it still gives them a lead later on doesn't it? Like Feds, could possibly open a investigation later on after all the chaos.
Who gets to declare marshal law?
Governor or president, I believe. No others I think.
New details, 7-11 robbery is unconnected to the two suspects. But the two suspects did kill the MIT officer. That is what set off this whole chain of events.
so the suspect #2 screencap was from a different store?
I don't even know whats going on anymore...
Even if they can't do anything, it still gives them a lead later on doesn't it? Like Feds, could possibly open a investigation later on after all the chaos.
That'll be a pain in the ass with all that paperwork
Governor or president, I believe. No others I think.
What about the CEO of Marshalls They were founded in Boston
When someone says "shells" alone, knowing these guys have tons of explosives, my first thought went to some kind of mortar shell. Shotgun shells don't sound all that terrifying compared to what it could have been or has been found :v:
Some type of 40mm rounds
to my understanding, the house searches fall under "exigent circumstance" fancy term that allows for searching peoples homes without consent during an active pursuit, or when evidence is at risk of being destroyed. not an expert at con law, however.
Exigent circumstances - An emergency - ie. "Help hes going to kill me" Hot Pursuit - Suspect runs into a house.. you follow Consent - You let them in Plain View - You can see it. Open Field - Woods/Lakes/etc on and around the property. Theres others but they wouldnt apply here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourth_Amendment_to_the_United_States_Constitution
Maybe is just me, but I'm starting to have this sinking feeling that he got away...
The entire planet knows what this kid looks like. He has limited supplies and has to rest at some point. He'll be caught eventually, at some point.
Sorry, I just had to do it
are you involved in this any way? i know this is different from your station but still
All the TV's around the station are tuned to different news stations. I am personally not involved, nor is my department. I'd be grateful if someone removed this damn title.
Maybe is just me, but I'm starting to have this sinking feeling that he got away...
Honestly I'm really surprised he's lasted this long. He's either astronomically lucky or incredibly skilled to have gone up against everything from campus security to the National Guard and not get his ass ventilated.
