Moral of the story, don't use Paypal.
Well at-least keep it on the list as last resort, and avoid keeping a worthwhile amount of money on it.
sue the hell out of them
What alternatives do you suggest?
Google checkout and a bank account.
webmoneyz
I haven't had much problems with PayPal, I transfer quite large sums weekly ( I am not verified )
Paypal only care about customers with verified accounts and are transferring huge amounts of money weekly
I use Paypal somewhat often but only for small transfers (I have like $20 max in there) cause it's so convenient. From all the stories I've heard though, there's not a chance in hell I'd use them for something involving large sums of cash.
Never used paypal, never will.
I always withdraw money from paypal as soon as I get it.
I've never had a single problem with PayPal, in fact I've had good experiences. I got ripped off a while back and having gone through the process to get my funds back rather quickly and rather smoothly I can't say I have any gripe with them.

If I have more I put it on my card.
Paypal suspended my account for a few months because I bought an airsoft rifle.
and I have an airsofting license :suicide:

More like PayFoe.
Fucking paypal man, they never used to be like this.

Haven't they always been like this? I remember similar stories like this from few years ago.. :o

What the fuck. They shouldn't be checking what we're buying unless they get complaints about a certain thing.
I use paypal all the time, never had any issues.
I only buy stuff though.

Actually I hacve received some money, I did a 4 pack on Steam before.
I frequently used Paypal in the past and can confirm that they like to pull stunts like these.
I had to confirm that i was the owner of my bank account multiple times (requires to send money and upload a pic of your id) and even then they still bitch. I also had to send lots of emails to them because my money didn't arrive, they always said seems like something went wrong and suddenly they do have my money. This has happened so many times that its getting a habit to send an email before the money is transferred. I like the idea of Paypal, but they just seem to want one thing. They just want to grab your money once it has arrived to your account (or before!).
I usually store around 50€-60€ on my paypal.
Wouldn't dare having more with how they treat their customers.

You need an airsoft license in uk? Do you also need a license for legos?
You need an airsoft license in uk? Do you also need a license for legos?
You only need a license if the gun isn't two-tone, or if you aren't using plastic ammo.

Can't you own an air rifle (the ones that shoot metal pellets) without a license? If not I've got a few dodgy friends/friends dads.

I'm not 100% on that part; I've never considered using metal ammo myself.

What the fuck?
Why do they treat everyone as guilty until proven innocent?
You need an airsoft license in uk? Do you also need a license for legos?
I'm actually perfectly fine with the UKARA license, it stops idiots.
It gives you PROPER teaching on how to use and take care of an airsoft weapon.
I've only used paypal for a couple things.

The law states that you must have a license if your weapon isn't comprised of atleast 40% of a bright colour, usually orange, green or cyan.
This was put in place to stop people mistaking airsoft guns for real guns.
