You can find 2 litre bottles around here of the good stuff a lot around here too. Just gotta watch out for the deals. And you can find 2 litres of cheap shit in tesco for like 40p
poundland film owns bones
my problem with poundland drinks is that, the benefit is it's £1 but it goes out of date in 2 weeks, is likely to give you tapeworm and if it was originally fizzy it's actually going to be as flat as angelina jolies chest
[editline]14th May 2013[/editline]
I've bought bottles of Pepsi from Poundland before that are completely flat. They usually aren't refrigerated too. I generally just pay the 40-50p extra and get something that's cold and still carbonated.

Since when did Pepsi give you tapeworm?
Since when did Pepsi give you tapeworm?
It was a joke. The majority of the stuff in these shops isn't exactly of the highest quality (although I'm sure big brands like Pepsi are fine.)

there are certain standards to all products, even high quality chocolate have traces of fly eggs ready to hatch into maggots. Now bottle water can be worse the tap water, it won't have tape worm but it does have an expiration date.
Yes but our Coke isn't made with cheapass corn syrup sugar.
Also the price keeps me from buying/drinking too much.
Not all of the coke is made like that
Not all of the coke is made like that
Only soda in the US is made with HFCS, the rest of the world uses cane sugar.
The reason we have to live with HFCS is because of the dumb corn subsidies and the Cuban embargo (no cheap cane sugar) and imported cane sugar is subject to tariffs to make it more expensive than HFCS.
One of the only places you could get cane sugar soda was from Dublin Dr. Pepper, but the shitty Dr. Pepper / Snapple group sued them out of existence because of greed and now you can't get cane sugar Big Red anymore which pisses me off.
About the only thing we still have cane sugar wise for soda are the imported Mexican coke glass bottles, but only in the southern US. The northern states have something that looks like Mexican Coke, but if you read the ingredients it uses a 50/50 mix of HFCS and cane sugar.
How Excellent.
Right next to my college are 2 Poundlands and a Poundworld :v:
how much does Beer cost normaly and can you buy it at Poundland.? in the UK.?
Right next to my college are 2 Poundlands and a Poundworld :v:
are they pretty much the same thing/idea.?
Wow, what a ripoff. I can pick up 2-liter bottles of Coke or Pepsi for $0.99 here in the U.S.
2 litre bottles are normally cheaper because no one wants to carry 2 litres around with them, 2 litres is £1.25 here http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=254857265
Pepsi here is 89p.
So far I have won in price deflation.
Enter turkey, where I could pick up 4L bottles for just 2 Lira.
[editline]15th May 2013[/editline]
That's 72p.
An excellent price cut.
just pop down to aldi and pick up a home brand coke during the sale, 8p for a 2l bottle
don't worry about the sugars and all the other crap in it or how flat it is
Poundland.
Sounds like the title to a porno.
Hah hah hah one 1.5l bottle of coke in finland is like 2.40€ our prices are so fucked up.
Our sugar taxes are so shitty it's just worth buying candy/soda anymore.
When a single bag of candy goes for like €3.50
Or even a snickers for €0.70
B&M ftw
Oh wow, what an amazing price reduction.
how are they going to accomodate for the change!!?
where will they get the extra pennies from?!
Wow, what a ripoff. I can pick up 2-liter bottles of Coke or Pepsi for $0.99 here in the U.S.
what the fuck
it's $3-$4 at supermarkets in Australia
$3.80 for a 600ml bottle in some vending machines
B&M ftw
I like how the ingredients in B&M drinks are always in arabic
In central Africa they sold 330ml Coke, Sprite, Fanta etc. for about the equivalent of 20p and you'd get 15p back if you returned the glass bottle to them
B&M ftw
Shit man no.
I bought a "chicken" soup from B&M once. I opened it up and it smelt like a rotten fetus had been eaten by a dog and shat out. I was gagging and was almost puking, and I hadn't even tasted the stuff.

If I ever get a coke addiction I know where to move to.
Was just at poundland about half hour ago, it's right next to 99p stores yet its still a £1 for everything, guess my town isn't cool enough to have 97p stuff.
We have a B&M here and they sell Mountain Dew's for 40p no joke
Was just at poundland about half hour ago, it's right next to 99p stores yet its still a £1 for everything, guess my town isn't cool enough to have 97p stuff.
You must live in one of the richer parts of the UK.
We have a B&M here and they sell Mountain Dew's for 40p no joke
Do you mean these?

B&M is the only place I know which sells them and they're always at least 2 for 99p
Poundland is the UK's equivalent to the dollar store im guessing
Poundland sounds so much more whimsical than Dollar Store.
