• Futurama Cancelled......Again.

While the recent seasons have been of higher quality than shows like the simpsons or family guy there definitely was an ominous feeling for the direction it was headed in. 7 seasons is a pretty good run, simpsons and family guy should have died a long time ago when they were still funny and memorable. Just let futurama die with grace and dignity before it becomes an unfunny-fest of pop culture punchlines.
Honestly, I feel like Futurama should've ended with Wild Green Yonder.
Just let futurama die with grace and dignity before it becomes an unfunny-fest of pop culture punchlines.
Futurama is literally the only Adult Swim cartoon that I dont like. Other than Squidbillies
That dog episode made me cry.
i have never seen futurama ever get mentioned without that fucking dog episode coming up we get it it was sad
Futurama is literally the only Adult Swim cartoon that I dont like. Other than Squidbillies
Don't tell me the first time you ever heard of Futurama was through Adult Swim...
ok we'll just have to create our own show it'll be called Soonrama, about a taxi company with a lovable idiot called Fri, the woman he loves with only 1 ear called Liila, a crazy but intelligent scientist called Dr. Fern, and some other colorful and hilarious characters it will be the best televsion show ever
Good. The new seasons were shit.
The show might be getting stale, but you'd think Comedy Central would have learned from the mistakes Fox made. Maybe they'll make one last movie to tie it all together?
And the Simpsons is still running...
I still think the episode 'The Late Philip J. Fry' is one of the best things to come out of the newer series.
That's the one with the 7-leaf clover right? That episode was fantastic.
And the Simpsons is still running...
Simpsons will run forever. Fox loves bragging its "Longest running show" rights.
That's the one with the 7-leaf clover right? That episode was fantastic.
No, The Late Philip J. Fry is the one where The Professor, Bender, and Fry all time travel.
No, The Late Philip J. Fry is the one where The Professor, Bender, and Fry all time travel.
Oh. Well my point still remains!
That dog episode made me cry.
So you didn't see the last bit of the episode where Bender discovers he doesn't have a back-up unit?
Oh. Well my point still remains!
That was actually an earlier-seasons episode.
God damnit Box Network, what are you doing

I like the original run better than the newer episodes, but it still sucks to see a good show cancelled when there are much worse shows that'll stay on the air for another 10 years.
It's the same under appreciated TV Show it was back when it got cancelled the first time. I mean DO you REALLY want it to get milked to the point of Family Guy or Simpsons 'humor"
but thats where the problem lies. it hasnt been getting milked. it's been consistently good for many years
That was actually an earlier-seasons episode.
Oh derp, didn't even see that last part remarking latest seasons.
[t]http://technabob.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/080310_rg_BackToTheFuturama_01.jpg[/t] I think this would be a great parody to end the show.
[t]http://technabob.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/080310_rg_BackToTheFuturama_01.jpg[/t] I think this would be a great parody to end the show.
but they already made the finale :(
Oh come on, Comedy Central, why? Are you really telling me you'd rather have The Burn, The Jeselnik Offensive, Inside Amy Schumer (???), Brickleberry, The Ben Show, and the Kroll Show over Futurama? You think anyone gives a fuck about these other shows? Renew Futurama and dump the other shitty money wasters you keep greenlighting.
The only good thing comedy central makes is workaholics and south park, all the rest are shit imo, except for the stand ups they do
Comedy Central killed it anyway.
That's the one with the 7-leaf clover right? That episode was fantastic.
Nah. That was The Luck of the Fryrish.
Comedy Central killed it anyway.
I read an interview somewhere that said Matt wanted "to turn it into more of a traditional sitcom" and then I knew it was over.
So, no reason other than "we feel its time to end it"? At least it beats the situation where it originally got cancelled: So the time slot could go to some unfunny "Malcom In The Middle" type show set in the 50's(which ended up cancelled shortly after).
