That's why they are donating 10 billion over a DECADE. In order to prevent catastrophic inflation he cannot legally spend that much money that fast. And with 80 billion dollars by the time the next decade hits he will have recovered that 10 billion plus some. He literally can't get rid of that money even if he wanted to.

He should start a company that gives free money to people of the age of 16-26 instead.

I thought it was going to be a donation to the Haiti Relief fund, and was about to complain about how much this is overdoing it. Luckily it's not towards that fund (although people should still donate!) Nice Job William. Nice Job.

If you have to import water, obviously you're running out of good water to use or you wouldn't be importing it in the first place.

I don't really approve of current Microsoft's Rockefeller-like business practices, but Gates has a long history of donating money and trying to do good. Not like those rich assholes who start throwing out money left and right as death closes in on them in the hope that someone will remember them for something other than ruthless money-grubbing.

I bet $10 Billion still won't sort things about and I bet we don't see any difference.
