Ok, even I feel like laughing at myself for this. I feel like one of those annoying conspiracy theorists but does anyone think this could be an inside job? North's enemies could be conspiring against them in order to start a war, in an attempt to rid of the North. I mean remember "Operation Northwoods" when Kennedy wanted to commit terrorist acts within the U.S and blame it on Cuba in order to start a war with them as an attempt to rid of Castro? Could be the same thing here. I mean North bombs South's military and civillians while at the same time a U.S envoy is moving into the area? Wouldn't that be a good excuse to start shooting? This could be just one of many series of events to accuse North of in order to start war. Fuck I feel like a crazy conspiracy theorist ... UNLESS ... that's what they WANT me to think! Or ... I'm really crazy ... FUCK! I always think too in depth like this!

Actually, if you think about it from a tactical standpoint, SK is probably holding back to silently evacuate Seoul. If NK's artillery is already zeroed in on the capital, SK is probably sending the civilians underground as a precaution to minimize casualties.

The only way this could end horribly is if China helps North Korea.

But not a single fuck was given. The same logic can be applied here, the US intervened in the European conflict to support their western allies during WW2. They will probably do the same for South Korea, only the US is going to be its only ally. No one else would give a shit let alone sacrifice their entire economical balance for a war that does not affect them nor belongs to them.

Here's the run down, 40 Houses are burning down, 1 South Korean soldier is dead, 15 civilians and 3 soldiers are wounded, and hundreds are desperately attempting to flee the island attacked via boats North Korea fired 200 shells, South Korea responded with 80 shells and scrambling of F-16 fighters This all comes on the heels of a South Korean official stating South Korea may ask for redeployment of American Nuclear Weapons in response to North Korea's new nuclear facility Shit is about to go down, this isn't a military boat the South Koreans can brush off, this was North Korea shelling a civilian town

If it was then there would of been even greater opposition in the rest of the world. In this case, the rest of the world almost has to do something given their relationships with the US. They can object but it's likely that a few will especially if it's known that they are a major threat or do a lot of shit. Also the US by itself could probably do plenty to NK. When it comes to direct military force, there's not a lot of effort required in modern stuff.

Oh BTW, if NK uses nukes, it pretty much gives the US free reign to nuke them as much as they see fit. Pretty much every Nuclear treaty allows for this and doesn't worry about them not really having enough to fight back sufficiently. One nuke to SK, 50 to NK.
