No, this will obviously turn into a nuclear war.

I posted that before.
i throw some mortars in the air sometimes, saying ayyo im kim jong ill-oh
What will happen then? The only thing I see happening is more political bullshit and then everyone forgetting about this, just like the warship sinking. If there would be a military response, it would probably come from South Korea first, and what would they do? All out war? There's nothing to gain for South Korea. this is such a murky situation.
If NK keeps it up though, I bet we'll get involved. I have a feeling they'll accidentally strike a US soldier during another barrage.
It's simple enough. You spend millions of dollars to produce MWD's, and then you launch them into the core of that ass-backwards piss ridden country we know as North Korea, and finish those fuckers off for good.

I doubt we'd go to war over one soldier.
That would be ridiculous.

Then North Korea launches their nukes at South Korea and me in Japan, and great fucking job, millions dead. Sure their missiles aren't exactly reliable, but do you want to risk it?

Because nuking a country is good for everyone.
It was sarcasm burningpride. Get a new meter.

But we would win and obviously that is all that matters.

Um.
What about South Korea? :colbert:
Sudden urge to play world in conflict. only if I had the game though.
Honestly though. I really wish North Korea wasn't around.
This might get serious

Mostly more of the same.

The problem is N.Korea has been a buffer zone between the Pro-US South and mainland China, meaning that China doesn't have to worry about it's boarders too much. Putting a US supplied democracy on China's doorstep would be worrying.

You doubt but I don't. It seems once a conflict takes any number of American life, just one is enough to rally support.

Sure, people would get pissed about it, but we wouldn't go to war over it.
The government doesn't go to war with whoever people tell them to go to war with just because they are telling them to.
I posted that before.
No you didn't. What you posted and what I posted say completely different things.
So uh, from what's come out so far it seems Kim's son doing this? Is Kim Jong Il dead or something?

Its hard to tell. You'd never fucking know because of how tight a leash they have on North Korean Media.

BREAKING NEWS: Kim Jong Il dead. Mortars were the coffins of him and his officials.
It takes rocket coffins to bring ol' Kimmy out in style.

Compared to:
"1538: US defence department spokesman Col David Lapan says no additional US military assets would be moved into the region following Tuesday's incident in South Korea. It is also "too soon" to discuss ways the US might deter North Korea from another attacks, he adds."
They basically say the same thing.
Why the hell is Kim's son doing this? I thought he'd be this smart guy who went to school in Switzerland.
