Pretty sure outright warfare would be a bad idea.
I hope to fuck they (non-fatally) hurt a US soldier in some way. Shit will hit the fan and then things will get good.
That's a horrible thing to say.
Where is Kim_Jong_Il?
He is in Glorious and Magnificent Subterranean Bunker of Greatness, selecting targets for the next Heavenly Barrage of Steel Rain.

Yeah I bet South Koreans are just hoping things will get good too. Life is so dull eh?
Man, for fuck's sake. :ohdear:
I just realized what I said. I don't why I did. :ohdear:
There is this though.

I don't think it'll start world war 3. Fuck you Baba Vanga, you don't know shit!
That's a horrible thing to say.
It's true what he's saying though. South Korean soldiers getting shelled and killed, the whole world 'stands by'. One American soldier gets a round wizz past his head and suddenly North Korea is a smouldering crater.

That's not what I was pointing out.
The fact that he wishes harm on someone just to "spice things up a bit" is terrible.

That's because america has the ability to just go around fucking shit up with no fears.
Really they are on a landmass all of their own, who the fuck in the America's has the might to actually take on even one single border state and win? no one.
America doesn't have to worry about repercussions of their actions, where as if they were attached to the Asian on European landmass, that would be a very different story.

I recognize it was a terrible thing. I forgot that all those US soldiers probably have families and how terrified they would be if they heard their dad/brother/husband was shot. Now I feel terrible. :saddowns:
I just wonder how much shit South Korea's going to take before shit hits the fan. North Korea has been doing shit for a while and each time they up the antics. It makes you wonder if next time could be the start of the Korean War - Pt. 2
also,
Oh fuck, oh fuck, oh fuck I don't want to die a virgin.
:tinfoil:
I hope something will happen. I'd like to see something like a revolution in NK. In a less-aggresive way.

It's alright bro we forgive you
or at least I do
I hope something will happen. I'd like to see something like a revolution in NK.
I'd like to see NK being taken over completely by SK so the people in NK can live a lot better.

No, American soldiers have been killed by North Korean soldiers in the past and it has not caused war.
I hope that one day North Korea and South Korea will be like East and West Germany.
why.

I hope one day these separated countries are still separated, but separated LESS!
So NK finally did something.
That is actually quite surprising.

They having been doing things for the past few years.
How effective is the states indoctrination in North Korea? Would the people really be happy with a occupationally instigated revolution? Or would they resist?
I imagine if we could get their standard of living up quickly then the people could be won over. If not, it'd probably just result in another Iraq, but without the oil I doubt the occupation would stick around.

when? Not doubting you, I've just not heard of any incidents recently.
Expect the actual "War" to last 3-4 weeks.
Then, decades of insurgency.
There would very, very little insurgency out of North Korea. This is an entirely different kind of situation than the one in the Middle East. A lifetime of poorly-executed propaganda or no, the people of North Korea know how badly that they've been oppressed, and I can't imagine that they'd accept liberation with anything less than mass celebration.
That's moot though, because at this point it looks like the situation has quieted, and war is at least temporarily delayed.
Sorry lazy wiki link

You don't think they would have been brainwashed, then?
I'm giving it a week before I come to conclusions over how it'll turn out. Stuff like this doesn't get resolved fast.

How would they know? They only have one news source.

Not doubting you, I've just not heard of any incidents recently.
EC-121 shootdown incident in '69, axe murder incident in '76, USS Pueblo (one of the crew at least was killed by machinegun fire). You're right that there haven't been recent incidents, though I doubt the response would be drastically different i.e. they're not going to glass the northern part of the peninsula.
Is there a chance that Kim Jong-Il is actually dead? And his son took over command.
North Korea could nuke America, but I don't think we could nuke them. What would we get out of it? Slaughtering millions of brain washed and hungry people.
Nuking North Korea would just push it back even further into the stone age than it is now.
