From what I gather, I think it's back to the good ol' stalemate. North Korea is probably not going to fire again.

This may lead to some rather fascinating turn of events. Hopefully this won't escalate, but if it does, Seoul is going to feel the pinch early.

I don't get why we're getting all riled about this if I'm honest. North Korea has done far worse than this in the past 30 years and nothing happened then either. We will have all forgotten about this in two days.

South Korea has admitted it was the first to fire the shells. However it says the firing was part of a military drill, not directed at North Korea.

It was admitted by North Korea that it was intentional and not the result of miscommunication. It's a different situation all together.
