Now, I'd be lying if I said I was never guilty on jumping a bandwagon, but when it comes to complex political and international issues, much of the public has the bad habit of jumping to the the farthest side of one issue or another. On one side you have people screaming "WAR" at every provocation, and on the other side you have people screaming "LOVE AND PEACE" on the other, when sometimes the answer is neither. On top of that you have every single person with an opinion thinking they have the end-all, be-all answer to everything. It gets really tiring really quickly.

Every war saw a bunch of suicides amongst the soldiers returning. Secondly, the draft is not active and won't be unless it's seriously needed, which it isn't. While you are required to sign up for a selective service upon reaching the age of 18, the draft is not in effect anymore.
