Brink of WWIII
Brink of WWIII
No.
What do they mean by 'N.Korea says South's actions driving peninsula "to the brink of war"'? What peninsula?
I understand. That sure is a lot of bullshit though.
Indeed, though it's far preferable to put up with it than trigger a war that'll see Seoul leveled by Scuds right from the start (contrary to popular belief, most of NK's arty doesn't have the necessary range, albeit they do have a few) [editline]24th November 2010[/editline]
What do they mean by 'N.Korea says South's actions driving peninsula "to the brink of war"'? What peninsula?
Korean peninsula. You know, that little outcropping on the arse end of China and Russia?

Even The Little boy (13kt) caused everything within 3.2km diameter area to burst into flames. 1.6*2*π= 10 km^2 So why would a 1.2 megaton B83 only destroy ~15 square km? Not to mention what would happen if there would be storm of nukes side by side. And as mentioned earlier, the fallout may be the biggest danger.
you know what, this thread reminds me I need to buy that
All my local news stations seem to be more stunned by a car being vandalized than this
No.
Want to explain your reasoning?
Want to explain your reasoning?
Because the countries are smart enough to not get involved in a war that doesn't concern them AT ALL?
Because the countries are smart enough to not get involved in a war that doesn't concern them AT ALL?
doesn't concern them ... what would the rest of the world do if America mortared Mexico without precedent [editline]lwkejf[/editline] or an important country like Canada
Because the countries are smart enough to not get involved in a war that doesn't concern them AT ALL?
Because Vietnam was completely overlooked by the U.S?
doesn't concern them ... what would the rest of the world do if America mortared Mexico without precedent [editline]lwkejf[/editline] or an important country like Canada
Bwahahahah "Or an important country like Canada" (Funny because it suggests that Mexico is unimportant. I don't believe Canada is unimportant. Figured I'd head this misunderstanding off at the pass.)
That image with nukes is highly optimistic. Roughly 50% of russan nukes are very, very lucky if they don't misfire at launch.
this makes me mad >:[
You missed the page of this thread where I discussed something like this. In all honesty, the average American fucknut doesn't honestly know what's best for this country. This country was not built on eye-for-an-eye politics. Americans are prone to allowing emotion and mob mentality to determine how they think. Just because TV might be filled with a bunch of jackasses screaming blood, does not mean they are right. That is what we have a government for in the first place.
I don't know about you but, this country was founded on a Democracy. A government for, and by the people. The country was founded on the people. Because we fought for it. During the Bush Administration, I'm pretty sure that 60%+ people dissaproved of him for a sane and good reason. The people know what's happening in today's society, and they want change, they don't want the bull shit going on right now. If you think our government is acting on behalf of " Whats best for this country " you are WRONG. Whats BEST for this country is what is BEST for the American People, and the ONLY people who know that are US.
HOLY SHIT! 2000 post in a day.

People may KNOW what's going on, but half the time they don't UNDERSTAND it. Want to know why the average American doesn't know what's best for the country? Because everybody wants what's best for THEM. Preservation of self-interests dominate most of what you see people saying on TV and such, and when it comes to the topic of war, a lot of people seem to think that complete and total annihilation of your enemy is the only way to win. People don't understand the logistics of waging a war. Very few people can claim to understand international policy because it's such a diverse and tricky topic. The average person has the bad tendency to try and boil down complex issues to their most base form and take it as absolute truth. The government is supposed to protect the interests of the American people as a whole. However, what might be best for YOU, might not be what's best for the guy standing next to you. When a person throws out a suggestion that goes against the interests of the person next to them, all hell tends to breaks loose. You have a nation full of people who think they know the answer, and where the loudest voices are often mistaken for the right voice/the majority. We elect people to understand this shit for us. That is their purpose.

The only people who do seem to be the REPUBLICAN party.
Wow, South Korea is just "Stop it guys! Seriously!" as they repeatedly get punched in the chest.
Then they'll do what Spiderman does to Flash in the movie and make them sit the fuck down. Then war.
I'd rather have Bush run the country than some robot.
You rather have someone's failed policies for 8 years who drove the country to a trillion dollar debt, collapsed the world economy, led us into 2 wars, tortured human beings and failing to comply with the UN Geneova Conventions? And I didn't say have a robot run the country. I'm implying that I would prefer a President who listened to the PEOPLE and not to special interests ( being payed off by special interests people )
