It seems as though that those without aren't seen as much. But think of what a transgender man goes through. The whole "I'd kill myself if" thing becomes quite a bit less powerful with that perspective: Left with a nub? Or born with one?
We need to move beyond thinking of someone as their utility to the kind of sex you're into/comfortable with, and start thinking of things as a shared experience, not just being out for our own fulfillment.
