You mean, like, not at all.
I can't see why people complain about this game at all. Animals have been the subject matter for movies and books for decades, and even centuries in literature. Why is there a problem when it's a video game? Oh wait that's right, the term "furry" has been popularized and now anything with animals is called furry.
Get over yourselves, this is clearly just a stylistic choice.
