Most users of Comcast/XFINITY -HAVE- had caps, if not all.
We had "thresholds" where once you hit it, nothing happened. In 2014 they began actually enforcing 300GB caps in certain areas with the same $10 per 50GB policy. This is basically the biggest expansion since it started.

my isp actually makes you pay for a high data cap we pay for their best possible service and have a 2 tb cap the scaling is like 100 gb cap -- > 300 -- > 500 -- > 2 tb and the prices are fucking stupid if you break the cap its an extra $10 per 50gb. It seems thats common in other areas, doesn't mean its not fucking stupid. Doesn't help the quality is still shitty at times.
