They claim that it was all staged by the Jews for money and so that they can claim Palestine as their own.
Wow. They go so far to say that 60 million dead across the world was staged, just so the Jews could get a chunk of land? That's the smartest idea ever! :downs:
Islam is a lie!
All the Iranian's are doing is insulting the jews like every other muslim country.
The Americans,Russians and canadians have PROOF that it happened.

What in the fuck are you even talking about? First you came up with the asinine idea this had to do with relics and shit, now you're just pointing out censorship? I agree that making holocaust denial illegal is somewhat wrong, but that doesn't change the fact that David Duke and half the other participants are reprehensible bigots who deny clearly established history. You're just trying to salvage some semblance of a valid point after I showed how wrong you were.

Yes because a list of attendees and countries that criticize the conference is proof that Iran's government openly denies the holocaust.

Where in god's name are you getting the idea this is about "studying the holocaust's aftermath"? Unless you're referring to Iran hoping that showing the Holocaust is a fake would destroy the Zionist state of Israel?
I'm not sure if you're just blind or doing this on purpose because you can't look past your hate of Israel to see that these people. Are. Not. Historians. It's a group of mostly bigots that deny the historically sound account of the holocaust.

Deputy culture minister = not 'widely supported by iran's government'
It's implicitly supported due to him not being censured by the government.. And multiple statements from the president show that he clearly supports holocaust revisionism and the destruction of the "zionist state" through this denialism.
EDIT: And stop jumping between points, my initial argument was against your assumption this was some historical shit, now you're making an argument about something I didn't initially argue. You're still wrong, and I've shown that, but you're making points that are totally out of place.

And referring to my other post, forget about what I said about the artifacts, they were investigating the body count. Also where is your source on the 'multiple statements'.

And here's yours.
You have yet to prove that it is WIDELY supported by the government. Instead, you take out of context statements and use them to your advantage.

Why the fuck are you arguing that with me then, I made no point of contention about the topic, just your dumbass statement. I couldn't care less about the origins of the website, there's more than enough evidence besides to show the Iranian government is at least complacent in holocaust denialism, if not actively supportive.
Oh, and here's the multiple statements:

I fail to see how direct quotes from the president aren't both indicative of the government's support and not out of context. I've shown you one high ranking official who outright calls it a lie, and the president himself who denies it to at least a moderate degree. Yea, maybe lower levels don't support it, but it doesn't exactly matter much if the president does, now does it?

How is that not actively supportive?! The fucking president talks at conferences dedicated to revisionism and makes statements all but calling the current account of the holocaust a fabrication. What could possibly be more active?
And what study? And what's widely used?! :psyduck: I never said anything was widely used for anything. I said he made multiple comments and it was widely supported

Ok now you're either deliberately trolling me, or just stupid. I ctrl-F'd study in all 5 links, and found one mention that you can't possibly take seriously:
"If as you claim the Holocaust is true, why can a study not be allowed?" he said to chants of "Death to Israel" from the crowd gathered for the annual display of solidarity with the Palestinians.
You really think he means an actual study? Do you know nothing about denialists? That's the most common tactic ever, the "just asking questions" bullshit. There ARE studies, hundreds to thousands of them, what fucking study could he be asking for in such vague terms?
You liar, Go back in your cave troll.

The Holocaust has been used as propaganda positive for jewish people, and you know it.
The guy above you? His ancestors did get cooked alive, sure. Condolences.
But "all on film and picture"? That's just ridicilous.
Now, you know, documentaries usually have diverse numbers on actual victims and how many people got cremated. Funny thing is, I have an acquaintance who happens to have a job of cremating people. He told me that it takes approximately 7 hours for a human body to become ash.
The Nazi death camps barely had any space to "produce" a million dead jews from cooking them in ovens. There's just simply not enough space, mathematically.
Now I'm not saying that there was no injustice and I'm not denying the Holocaust because it happened, millions of people died. But even the millions are blown out of proportion.

Not that many Jews died from being burned, actually. I think the most died from being shot, they were brought out to the woods in large groups, told to stand in several lines and face away from the Nazis, then the Nazis would shoot them all using just a few bullets, to save ammo. The units that did this were called "Aizengroffen" (probably a misspell).
Quite a lot died from starvation and diseases in the Ghettos as well, and the 2nd most deadly killing method was the gas chambers I think.
I don't get people like this, it's like saying the moon doesn't exist, it's right in front of you, just because you say it's not doesn't change anything.
thats fucked up.

Put a piece of meat on a frying pan, it cooks fairly slow and will burn if you leave it on for too long. Now put a piece of meat in a furnace, it will burn in under a minute and be a piece of ash before long. It's not really that hard of concept that a hotter crematory will burn people faster and nitpicky problems like this and the "no holes in the gas chamber roof" arguement are minor issues that anyone with an engineering degree could solve.
This is fucking disgusting.
