she swung first, obviously! :downs:
yes and? I just said she probably deserved it. I mean, if we're going to downplay two domestic abuse charges to just 'bruises in the heat of the moment' why not just go that little bit further
Because we aren't completely and total morons
George Zimmerman: What a guy!
yes and? I just said she probably deserved it. I mean, if we're going to downplay two domestic abuse charges to just 'bruises in the heat of the moment' why not just go that little bit further
Because at that point we're going from "downplaying" to "victim blaming" which, if I'm not mistaken, is HEAVILY looked down upon, especially around here.
he clearly set up the whole accident just to make himself look better i mean duh come on guys [sp]it's sarcasm oh god don't hurt me[/sp]
Because at that point we're going from "downplaying" to "victim blaming" which, if I'm not mistaken, is HEAVILY looked down upon, especially around here.
I would think that downplaying domestic abuse would be looked down upon, too...
Because at that point we're going from "downplaying" to "victim blaming" which, if I'm not mistaken, is HEAVILY looked down upon, especially around here.
I wasn't even the one who victim blamed here. I'm saying that people do regrettable shit when they're young and stupid and it was a decade ago.
I would think that downplaying domestic abuse would be looked down upon, too...
it's just silly play fighting that loving couples do sometimes it's no big deal
Because at that point we're going from "downplaying" to "victim blaming" which, if I'm not mistaken, is HEAVILY looked down upon, especially around here.
He knows that, he's making a patronizing and "ironic" post which is implying that anyone who disagrees with him endorses domestic abuse and victim blaming, all the while not realizing he's been blaming a victim ever since the Trayvon trials started.
I would think that downplaying domestic abuse would be looked down upon, too...
I agree. I'm just calling out the fallacy in what NoDachi was saying.
It wasn't a black coloured truck, so of course he helped whomever was in it! Zimmerman is a carcist! But in all reality, good on him. I don't care if anyone thought he was restoring reputation or anything, he just seems like a decent guy.
it's just silly play fighting that loving couples do sometimes it's no big deal
No one fucking said that. The people who are "brushing it aside" are saying that it happened a decade ago and he's changed since then.
I like this headline better: "Facepunch Posts Another Zimmerman Article Despite Constantly Complaining About News Media Surrounding Zimmerman"
I agree. I'm just calling out the fallacy in what NoDachi was saying.
I was just calling out the 'Good Man' fallacy sorry
I like this headline better: "Facepunch Posts Another Zimmerman Article Despite Constantly Complaining About News Media Surrounding Zimmerman"
We're tired about hearing about everyone protesting a fair trial because he was racist, which had no relation to why Trayvon Martin was shot.
No one fucking said that. The people who are "brushing it aside" are saying that it happened a decade ago and he's changed since then.
how do you know? I doubt you know the guy
We're tired about hearing about everyone protesting a fair trial because he was racist, which had no relation to why Trayvon Martin was shot.
so the media is not evil/biased/manipulative when it lines up with your own views?
how do you know? I doubt you know the guy
yeah he's gone on to do great things
He's a massive dick, but he's not an evil villain
Literally the thread title says "Hero George Zimmerman" how do you not understand that by you all jerking off to a morally dubious character just because he officially didn't murder someone you are at an extreme end of the spectrum far further than any media ever was
Literally the thread title says "Hero George Zimmerman" how do you not understand that by you all jerking off to a morally dubious character just because he officially didn't murder someone you are at an extreme end of the spectrum far further than any media ever was
Because pulling someone out of a car, despite the immense personal risk, is a brave, courageous, and hard thing to do. This guy is basically as hated as osama bin laden to about 50% of the population.
Literally the thread title says "Hero George Zimmerman" how do you not understand that by you all jerking off to a morally dubious character just because he officially didn't murder someone you are at an extreme end of the spectrum far further than any media ever was
He never murdered anyone at all, he was thrust in a terrible situation and was forced to defend himself. This man possibly saved another person's life, this man is a hero.
Domestic abuse is now "regrettable"? Really...
Was it not regrettable prior to his statement?
Literally the thread title says "Hero George Zimmerman" how do you not understand that by you all jerking off to a morally dubious character just because he officially didn't murder someone you are at an extreme end of the spectrum far further than any media ever was
You fell for it
Someone sure does have a hard-on for Zimmerman :v:
Aren't you not actually supposed to pull people from crashed vehicles unless you're a trained paramedic or something? Otherwise, I think you can possibly injure them further.
shit, well I guess there's nothing more to do except put them back in the wreck [editline]asd[/editline] they beat you to it
Aren't you not actually supposed to pull people from crashed vehicles unless you're a trained paramedic or something? Otherwise, I think you can possibly injure them further.
I don't know the specifics of the laws in Florida, but many states have Good Samaritan Laws, whereby if you are actively trying to save someone's life, you are not legally liable for any harm that comes to them. Without such a law, it would be possible for a person who suffered a broken rib from CPR that saved their life to press civil, and possibly criminal charges against the person that saved them.
he clearly set up the whole accident just to make himself look better i mean duh come on guys [sp]it's sarcasm oh god don't hurt me[/sp]
Since I was morbidly curious, I just checked Gawker. Some people actually appear to believe this is a PR stunt. Fuckin' morons.
Because pulling someone out of a car, despite the immense personal risk, is a brave, courageous, and hard thing to do.
sounds more like a hero fantasy than anything
sounds more like a hero fantasy than anything
Are you being legit here?
