http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domestic_violence_against_men
So pretty much both sides are biased in the gathering procedures and presentation of them? This is new how? It ends up being people with PhDs arguing with people with PhDs and both sides have peer reviewed articles printed and people can pick whatever side they agree with because based on their own research, they are both right.
it's not an opinion it's a policy a well known one at that no one (as far as i know?) is arguing the policy doesn't exist anymore the argument is now "you should ignore it"
well someone isn't dead so this really isn't worth talking about in the way you're trying to talk about it.
Why cant it be regrettable?
I think the point they were making was the fact that regrettable was used like "oh yeah everyone's done something stupid when they were younger", in reference to domestic violence. Yes it is by definition regrettable, but in context it was used in the same way you'd call "getting caught stealing a handful of snacks at a gas station" regrettable could just be me but that whole shitstorm around that post was unnecessary.
zimmerman is a government agent
He could set the orphanage on fire and you'd worship him
And he could put the orphanage fire out and you'd still vilify him because your media gods tell your he's a wife beating, teen murdering, child molesting fuck, right?
And he could put the orphanage fire out and you'd still vilify him because your media gods tell your he's a wife beating, teen murdering, child molesting fuck, right?
um you basically just restated the post I was responding to showing you completely missed the point
I wonder if the vehicle was speeding. I hope not, because I'm tired of people injecting race into Zimmerman's actions.
um you basically just restated the post I was responding to showing you completely missed the point
If you can respond with "no u", I can respond with "no u", also enjoy your time away from Facepunch, try and get some fresh air and clear your head a bit, you seem to be quite frustrated.
I wonder how many people will just say something along the lines "He just did it to look good/restore his reputation".
"my cusin told me there wus black man in truck and he was drag white man out away frum him" EDIT: Jesus christ I was late on that one. Oh well.
if it was murder I doubt you'd be saying this
well uhm funny that you should say that
Oh look, even if you were on Trayvon's side, he's just balanced it out. Snazzy.
sounds more like a hero fantasy than anything
zimmerman: damned if he does, damned if he doesnt
Dorner confirmed for accomplice!!! YOU CAN'T CORNER THE FLIM FLAM ZIM ZAM DORNER TEAM!!!
I'm tired of hearing about this insignificant retard.
Dorner confirmed for accomplice!!! YOU CAN'T CORNER THE FLIM FLAM ZIM ZAM DORNER TEAM!!!
[t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/41461189/drop/%21zimmerman/1373823352267.jpg[/t] [editline]22nd July 2013[/editline] I am so, so sorry.
or maybe just maybe he's neither
This thread kind of shows how hard it is to use the word "hero" objectively to describe human beings. If Zimmerman actually did this then I have to say it was a self-less act of empathy and human compassion. So was the individual act heroic? I suppose you could call it that. But in my eyes Zimmerman is hardly a hero. Heroes don't get restraining orders against their ex's. Heroes don't assault ("push") police officers. Heroes don't overzealously profile a "criminal" and make a mistake that ends in someone else being killed, even if it was self defense. None of these things particularly damn Zimmerman, but put together paint a picture of someone who is hobbled by fairly human foibles. I don't mean to make domestic abuse or the shooting death of Trayvon Martin seem less egregious than they actually are, but my point is that these are not things heroes do. I don't think he is necessarily a villainous person either though because he has done some undeniably good acts. I just think calling him a hero leads one to call serious problems in society like "domestic abuse" merely regrettable in an effort to rationalize his heroic persona.
that's why you dont flim flam the zim zam [editline]22nd July 2013[/editline] immediately discredited because JAY Z runs the illuminati
Jay Z took the snow dog challenge.
Zimmerman isn't anything close to a hero or villain. He's an average guy who happened to get caught in one of those overblown-media cases where they tell you to either love him or hate him.

He's an average guy who happened to get caught in one of those overblown-media cases where they tell you to either love him or hate him.
Case in point: Way to go, TMZ. Can't let those ratings slip in favor of unbiased reporting now can we?
didn't he beat his ex?
It was alleged domestic abuse. Both him and his ex claimed it against each other. Neither were able to be proven so the judge at the time granted him and his ex the same restraining order.

He's an average guy who happened to get caught in one of those overblown-media cases where they tell you to either love him or hate him.
It's also funny how people immediately profile other people into two categories. On one hand, you either love Zimmerman and he's as close to God as you get, or you absolutely hate him to the point of legitimate death threats. There's no inbetween, it seems. People buy into sensationalism more than they should. I've been called a Zimmerman lover and I don't even think he's a good guy. :I
Is the "zimmerman beat his girlfriend once so he's terrible forever" argument still going ?
For what it's worth, I think Zimmerman's a cop wannabe doing cop wannabe things. It's not illegal to be a cop wannabe, just stupid.
oh that silly zimmerman always playing wannabe cop whatever hes not doing anyone any harm (except the kid who died but who even cares about that right haha good ol zimmerman what a cheeky goofball)
oh that silly zimmerman always playing wannabe cop whatever hes not doing anyone any harm (except the kid who died but who even cares about that right haha good ol zimmerman what a cheeky goofball)
so where in his post did he say he didn't do any harm
Jeez. Never seen FP's ~~~Justice warriorz~~~ be this mad for this long because they didn't get their way for once :v:
In a few months time, we'll have all forgotten about this whole trial and everything will be back to normal on Facepunch. Not exactly a great improvement, but hey, it's an improvement.
George Zim is currently hiding in south beach, California
oh that silly zimmerman always playing wannabe cop whatever hes not doing anyone any harm (except the kid who died but who even cares about that right haha good ol zimmerman what a cheeky goofball)
Feels a little stuffy up in my mouth with the words I never said being shoved in there.
The Illuminati planted the person there and controlled the truck via drone strike to bolster their "Hero's" reputation.
But the Illuminati hates gun rights activists, why would they help Zimmerman?
But the Illuminati hates gun rights activists, why would they help Zimmerman?
A truck full of dildos was suppost to hit Zimmerman as he attempted to rescue the passengers. The illuminati failed...
