"Muh torrent speeds"
Can you quickly confirm that this is a joke before you get banned for memeshit? I would feel a lot better knowing a real person doesn't think like this.
"Muh torrent speeds"
when you're trying to take the piss, at least have that piss-taking be informed thank you have a nice day
I have internet through my city's public service. Will I get affected?
Pretty sure everyone will be affected in the US. This isn't some sort of "Will I be affected question", it's more about how you will be affected.
The shit tower grows ever taller. Can't wait for the train wreck that will be 2017
Americans, if Trump begins trying to censor criticism on websites via pushing net neutrality out the window, you need to revolt then and there. I'm not saying it's happening or going to happen, but it could. And if it did, a 21st century Fascist America becomes far closer to being a real thing than I think anyone, even Trump voters other than the legit neonazi white supremacists, want. Everything begins locking into place and a new time of darkness begins within the Land of the Free.
I can't wait to see people defend no net neutrality because trump said it was bad. expecting lots of trickle down economy-style defenses with 'more money=more infrastructure!'
My father thinks that it's a terrible idea because he believes its the government trying to control shit what he doesn't know is that there is a difference between the government trying to keep businesses/corporations the fuck out of things, and individuals out of things.
if you voted for trump, you are a fucking idiot.
Same goes for Hillary, and for not voting
Aw fuck's sake
I wonder how /pol/ and r_theDonald are taking it this. Do you think there's still a fighting chance ? Like with SOPA and blw Google shut down their search engines to raise awarness
https://www.change.org/ https://www.reddit.com/ https://www.whitehouse.gov We need a mass protest
so you link to petitions? Also I expect another thread of Trump supporters not coming in to defend their choice lol
What you need to do is have a team of experts talk to Trump with an excellent argument and then Trump will change his mind.
You need to fight fascism at the debate table!
What you need to do is have a team of experts talk to Trump with an excellent argument and then Trump will change his mind.
they'll be there to help trump, they're experts, they're the best people, the smartest people, and they'll make great deals, believe me
if you voted for trump, you are a fucking idiot.
They don't care. They'll still complain in a few years that their bills keep going up
They don't care. They'll still complain in a few years that their bills keep going up
and then in 2020 trump will claim that it's somehow the democrats fault, and they'll vote for him again
They don't care. They'll still complain in a few years that their bills keep going up
Yeah don't underestimate the endless rabbit hole that is the right-wing media machine.
Also I expect another thread of Trump supporters not coming in to defend their choice lol
There's nothing to defend. It's bad overall even to some of us Trump supporters.
tbh, Clinton would've done the same thing with TPP.
I remember when Tom Wheeler was appointed and people were unsure where exactly he stood on issues like consumer rights, net neutrality and thought he would fuck everyone over. He ended up proving us wrong and soon enough everyone loved him. Farewell, internet. We hardly knew ye.
tbh, Clinton would've done the same thing with TPP.
What do you mean same thing
What do you mean same thing
Gotten rid of net neutrality.
There's nothing to defend. It's bad overall even to some of the Trump supporters.
Not this, but I mean their choice of candidate in light of things like this. You can't just be a single-issue voter, you're responsible for the package you voted for.
We will make our own network, our own websites and our own ways of staying in touch with the world if this happens. We will make our own software that will let us do this, our own security measures that make sure the corp's can't get to us (and most of them are too stupid or lazy to put any effort into figuring anything out) and the internet will survive. And even then, if U.S. will do it while losing its own power and influence around the world (as predicted) then maybe it's only the people of U.S. that will have to endure this ridiculous retardation. I only hope that the world will not suffer too much.

Yeah, let's just grassroots up thousands of miles of fiber-optic cable.
It's not really an option for rural areas, but if the houses are close enough together, it's entirely feasible to set up a mesh network using home (wifi) routers with custom firmware. The routing algorithms for them seem to yield fairly decent throughput (though I haven't actually followed this very well) and iinm there are existing solutions that also enable onion routing or similar to obscure the physical location of a given service.
Also I expect another thread of Trump supporters not coming in to defend their choice lol
Yep, we get it. You post this in every thread remotely related to trump. Got it. Don't need to keep saying it. Thanks.
You need to fight fascism at the debate table!
If you're going to make fun of this then why do you come off so upset that you don't get any trumpets to have a rational, mature discussion with?
Gotten rid of net neutrality.

19:45.
Yep, we get it. You post this in every thread remotely related to trump. Got it. Don't need to keep saying it. Thanks. If you're going to make fun of this then why do you come off so upset that you don't get any trumpets to have a rational, mature discussion with?
I think it's the second time I've posted it? But people do post it every thread [sp]because it's true[/sp] And remember; I was talking of their candidate, not them. I'm inviting them to explain how they vote for a man like this regardless of the bad, just like how I voted Hillary and Bernie despite their flaws.
Uhhhh
"she said it, therefore it's true"
If you're going to make fun of this then why do you come off so upset that you don't get any trumpets to have a rational, mature discussion with?
Careful you are insinuating an SH professional, prepare for a discussion that no one wants to take part in
Careful you are insinuating an SH professional, prepare for a discussion that no one wants to take part in
If you posters actually acknowledged some of these problems, even if you still gave it some sprinkle of optimism, then you'd sure look a lot less stupid than only coming to make mad bantz that prove fucking nothing.
"she said it, therefore it's true"
And even then the TPP could be interpreted as helping Net Neutrality. Whether Hillary would be for it or not, doesn't matter. Now, of course since the TPP is iced now. It's not going to help into fruition, any sort of situation where the idea of Net Neutrality being bolstered as a possibility. Because, well. The opposite side wants it gone for obvious reasons that it is anti competitive. https://www.wired.com/2015/11/tpp-net-neutrality/ Here's an article about that. Even then, it's hard to like estimate what Hillary would've done for Net Neutrality as the role of president. We do not know, we do know though that her party, the Democrats. Do not really like to abolish Net Neutrality.
