עבודת אותך לחופשי.
Ching chong ching ching chong? What?
Wow talk about Déjà vu.
עבודת אותך לחופשי.
Very clever.
sounds a bit like delayed onset stockholm syndrome
This is old news Also, didn't this get repealed or some shit
old as published in yesterday, they've just started these new segregated bus lines today fyi.
This is old news Also, didn't this get repealed or some shit
The proposal is old.
It's like they're taking the worst of racism in the US and combines it with the atrocities of nazi Germany, and then tries to get away with as much of it as possible.
That picture; he just wants the rainbow water instead of plain old regular water. I don't blame him.
old as published in yesterday, they've just started these new segregated bus lines today fyi.
I hope someone goes to the supreme court and changes that ASAP, this is atrocious [editline]3rd March 2013[/editline] Just to clarify, anyone can go to the Israeli supreme court in order to appeal government policies. I still have some optimism- the supreme court has stopped cases like this in the past.
It's like they're taking the worst of racism in the US and combines it with the atrocities of nazi Germany, and then tries to get away with as much of it as possible.
That's no coincidence. The deep south inspired a lot of Nazi Germany's policies toward jews.

And soon there will be Palestinian only trains that take them to "work" camps.
עבודת אותך לחופשי.
Directly translated to English that would mean "Work you for to free" The "Work sets you free" phrase in hebrew is "העבודה משחררת" which means "Work Frees"
you know the sad part is, after the shit hits the fan, if it keeps going in that direction, we might see a massive resurgence of anti-jew sentiment... and so the wheel turns :suicide:
Before ya know it work will be setting them free.
boycott boycott boycott for the love of god.
This sorta thing never ends well, take Ireland with the protestants vs the Catholics or the racism in the us.
Anyone else seeing the giant apartheid coloured elephant in the middle of the room? Anyone?
I feel bad for Israelis. The people that are stuck with this idiotic government they don't support, of course.
According to the statement, "The Transportation Ministry is forbidden from preventing any passenger from boarding any line of public transportation, nor do we know of a directive to that effect. Instating these lines was done with the knowledge and complete agreement of the Palestinians." So was this all just a big misunderstanding then...
We also have more reasons not to intervene. We should threaten to cut their funding and support instead.
Funny that you mention cutting funding, y'know with all these new budget cuts, guess who isn't loosing a single dollar to their funding?
If there was legal obligations for the segregation of Israelis and Palestinians on the bus routes (i.e they had to stick to their designated buses) then this would be a different story. The fact is this was most likely done to reduce tensions in the bus-rides as I can imagine there would have been numerous arguments/fights in them. My University has specific buses setup for Uni students and encourages us to use them, which is perfectly fine. The separation will probably lead to a more enjoyable journey for everyone.

It's very amoral to ignore - even abide! - such ridiculous prejudice just for the sake of easier bus rides, and if the Israeli people never learn to coexist with the Palestinians, and the Palestinians never learn to coexist with the Israelis, how in the world do you expect people like Hamas and the IDF to ever simmer down and stop this craziness? Really, putting walls up hasn't helped the situation in the slightest bit, and I seriously doubt it ever will. So is stopping a few dumb assholes from fighting really worth putting up another one?

When you see your family and friends killed and maimed through war/terrorism by people who wish to wipe the country of the map then its going to be hard to forget and strive for peace.
So wait, if many people take the bus one day and Israel invades those territories with tanks... Oh I can see where this is going. Could be some strategy to group them all together. But I could probably be wrong.

"Palestinian only" buses. I think I'll quote my old history teacher, once they start segregating people based on being of a certain background, that's the time to get out.
