Who knows, someone who's still a member of it might approve that. You might call me paranoid, but I don't want to be fucking nuked because Putin did something stupid.
I know a lot of people don't like Obama but do you really think he would nuke all of Russia just because of something one dumb bitch that was laughed out of politics over five years ago said? The right answer is "No.".
How does one person reach this level of stupidity?
What, the american government would actually approve the idea of nuking us? Well, it was nice knowing you.
Sarah Palin is a crazy psychopath, who actually caused tons of Republicans to vote Democrat in 2008. Including members of my own family. Do not take her as a voice of the American people. Republicans are scared of her for christ sake.
Stop Sarah Palin with nukes [editline]9th March 2014[/editline] One could only wonder how she almost made it to president with such bonkers brains
it's like she thinks this is a fucking joke good guys and bad guys are you off your fucking nut woman
Might have been a figure of speech to be honest. Although I don't know much about Sarah Palin so maybe I'm missing something.
-snip-
If Sarah Palin is merely using this statement figuratively: She isn't saying anything that some Republicans are already poking at Obama with. Basically, they want the US to be a big strong country that can scare others into compliance. If Sarah Palin isn't using this statement figuratively: it's not very surprising. Either way: nothing that this person says is relevant or important. People should stop focusing on her. The media loves her because she's crazy and draws attention and it needs to stop.
And once again, sensationalist headlines strike again. Despite what the OP and the source article imply (shame on that journalist, I hope he/she gets punished for how sensationalist it is), Palin didn't say:
stop Putin with nukes
She said:
“the only thing that stops a bad guy with a nuke is a good guy with a nuke”.
For people to actually believe that Palin is advocating the use of nuclear weapons is ridiculous. Her comment is leaning more towards deterrence through MAD, rather than outright throwing nukes at each other. [editline]9th March 2014[/editline] Ukraine's military hasn't got shit on Russia's. Yet if the US were to bulge its muscles in defence of Ukraine, Russia would obviously back down. I don't agree with doing that, but that is what she is saying NOT advocating nuclear warfare. [editline]9th March 2014[/editline]
This is not 70s and our country isn't called USSR anymore, you dumb cunt. Really, I'll be surprised if anyone takes what those american clowns say seriously.

What, the american government would actually approve the idea of nuking us? Well, it was nice knowing you.
I think that the person calling someone else a dumb cunt needs to look in the mirror [sp]don't ban me for flaming, as an Australian, cunt has been a part of my vocabulary since the first word I spoke[/sp]

What is a "Good guy with a nuke"? Sounds like an oxymoron.
Of course, nukes solve everything because there will be no problems left after launching them since there won't be anybody left to cause them! Genious! Minor side effect being that we are all gonna be fucking dead but hey atleast we got rid of it eh?
What is a "Good guy with a nuke"? Sounds like an oxymoron.
Harry Stamper would like to have a word with you.
"the only thing that stops a bad guy with a nuke is a good guy with a nuke”.
Did she seriously fuck up an NRA slogan? Jesus christ. We should stop her with nukes.
Sarah Palin gives me hope for the rest of the american populace.
If McCain was smart he would've picked a normal VP, and I wouldn't be surprised if he came close or won out right
I recently watched her documentary "The Undefeated". It does a really good job at making her look good.
Why are there politicians out there who still believe in people, countries and cultures being either "good" or "evil"? It's like the epitome of black and white thinking. It's like she thinks the world is as simple as a video game.
in Sarah Palin's case, she is literally out of touch with thew world living in fucking Alaska and never having to deal with the rest of the country, however fox let he build a million dollar broadcast studio in her backyard so now she can show off how isolated and moronic she is
This woman was almost vice president.
I'm sure she'd still be saying that if she found out the first missile was coming down square on her house. :downs:
This is not 70s and our country isn't called USSR anymore, you dumb cunt. Really, I'll be surprised if anyone takes what those american clowns say seriously.
Don't be like that, saying it like that is the same kind of generalization that Palin made for all Russians because of Putin's actions.
More relevant than ever.
Sarah Palin, all people with nukes are bad to a degree. You are a fucking idiot
"The only thing that stops a bad guy with a x, is a good guy with a x." Oh how I loath this expression.
thanks god i live in moscow, so with some luck i can hide in our subway and play metro 2033 in case of her being elected as president.
Palin may be a bit of an idiot, but you guys need to quit circle jerking for a half second and understand what she's actually saying. She wasn't advocating nuclear war, she was advocating a strong US military presence to deter would-be aggressors. You may not agree with that but try not to call her dumb for the wrong reason.
She wasn't advocating nuclear war..
yeah that's why she didn't use the word nuke oh wait
crazy fucking bitch
We should just give Sarah Palin a nuke, tell her to throw it from her house at Russia, and let the whole problem* solve itself. *[SP]not the russia problem, the palin problem[/sp]

The funny part was that she actually thinks that there is such a thing as "good guys" and "bad guys", and she clearly belongs to the "good guys".
yeah that's why she didn't use the word nuke oh wait
She used nuke as a noun, as in possessing nukes. Not nuke as a verb, as in nuke Russia.
We should just give Sarah Palin a nuke, tell her to throw it from her house at Russia, and let the whole problem* solve itself. *[SP]not the russia problem, the palin problem[/sp]
This is the sort of thing I'm talking about. I assume this is referring to the "I can see Russia from my house" thing, which Palin never actually said (http://snopes.com/politics/palin/russia.asp). If you're gonna attack someone at least criticize her for the right reasons rather than misinterpreting things she says.
That wasn't the funny part to me. The funny part was that she actually thinks that there is such a thing as "good guys" and "bad guys", and she clearly belongs to the "good guys".
Yeah painting things as being that black and white definitely dumb. That being said, what Putin is doing does seem like "bad guy" behavior and using our stance as the dominant military power in the world to deter actions like that might have some merit.
