Trumps an idiot for taking the bait The mayor bitches and moans about help in a warehouse full of aid that can't go out because Puerto Rican's aren't showing up for work to move it out(can't get to work, more worried about family, etc etc whatever the case may be, there's a huge shortage of drivers). So now FEMA and the DOD have to figure out how to help those working to clear and reopen roads and now we have to find people to move the aid out. That shit doesn't happen overnight. And she seems to be alone in this. The Governor paints an entirely different picture.
Here, lets make this post more wholesome and accurate.
Trumps an idiot
Much better. Maybe you should stop focusing on your pseudowhataboutism responses and focus on the fact the President Of The United States doesn't give a damn that his own people are dying and are going to die.
Trumps an idiot for taking the bait
Only a cynical Trump apologist such as yourself could possibly be deluded enough to think that a government official begging for aid in the wake of a natural disaster is somehow a ploy to make Trump look bad. In case my point wasn't clear enough: no one fucking cares about PR right now except you and Trump. Everyone else just wants Puerto Rico to get the aid they need. The fact that you're preoccupied with the mayor's "bitching and moaning" just goes to show how pathetic and petty Trump and his entire base of support are. If this joke of a president would actually get off his ass and do something productive instead of talking shit on Twitter, this wouldn't be an issue.
In Loíza, residents waited for more than 10 hours Friday for gas. The town's deputy mayor, Luis Escobar, summed it up as a broken chain. "No fuel, no work, no money." Without gas or transport, people can't get to their jobs. Without work, there is no money to buy necessities.

There's also a cash scarcity. Many of Puerto Rico's businesses, supermarkets and gas stations will accept only cash because credit card systems are down. At least half of all bank branches remain shuttered, in part because they can't get enough armored trucks with gas, or truck drivers, to deliver cash safely. Roughly 90 open bank branches are limiting the amount people can withdraw per day, the governor said Friday, to ensure everyone can get some cash.
You have no FUCKING idea what you're talking about. The only "bitching and moaning" I'm seeing is your entire fucking post history on this subject, where the worst possible natural disaster short of a fucking meteorite falling on the island is belittled into "man them puerto ricans arent showing up to work lol" with implications I don't even fucking want to imagine.
Trumps an idiot for taking the bait
You showing up to blindly defend Trump is like the fucking sun setting at this point with how reliably it happens.
I wish this lazy, pampered oaf would just step down already. He's done nothing but say idiotic crap like this since he took office.

Theres no implication. Its a fact dude. Only 20% of their truckers are out working. They only move 400 containers a day because of it. Do you know what you are talking about?
What's the point of this? Where is the master strategy here? What does Trump, or anyone, stand to gain from this hostility to Puerto Rico? I'm not seeing what the play is. There's no value to Trump's attitude here, not strategically, not morally, and certainly not in terms of PR. There's only some very, very strong undertones of racism
Cause they're "mostly brown" or "psuedo-mexicans" in his mind. He doesn't want to say it, but he definitely would if it was safe to. Racism is probably the reason.
You showing up to blindly defend Trump is like the fucking sun setting at this point with how reliably it happens.
Blindly defend? The last PR thread was a bogus article. People tryna politicize these disasters are disgusting. They did it to Obama with Sandy and theyre doing it again. Shits fucked.

It's not a "whatever the case may be" it's a "complete infrastructure meltdown combined with lack of access to fuel which means no trucks to do the transporting which means a backlog of aid that can't be transported because of logistical problems" case which you're downplaying to "Puerto Ricans aren't showing up for work". If Trump read your the "Puerto Ricans aren't showing up for work" he'd go on twitter and post something like "Just got word! Puerto Ricans too lazy to help their families with aid transport! Sad! Cont..." "Turns out PR is just not working lol, disaster as excuse to not work? u decide! MAGA" It has fucking nothing to do with "more worried about their families etc etc." Give a Puerto Rican a truck and fuel and he'll gladly spend every single waking hour transporting aid to the one and a half MILLION people that don't have drinking water. The problem I have with your post isn't the underlying facts of the case. Yes, due to logistical failures following the largest storm to hit the island in a century, they're unable to transport things at an optimal rate. The problem I have is with the framing. You make it seem like the mayor some nutty bat that's over-dramatizing the situation while most of the island isn't in dire straits that you can't even comprehend from your cushy, borderline "hey im not really racist but" seat (which is I presume why you posted those statistics, thinking they're such positive things that only half of the island has drinking water, which means delivering water daily to 1.5 million people btw, or that only 10% of cell towers are functional but HEY ALL LAND LINES ARE, which does nothing when you remember 88% of puerto rico has cell plans, and probably less than 40% of households have a landline, without even mentioning electrical infrastructure to power those landlines.) While her citizens are starving, without water, and power she somehow finds a nice newly printed tshirt saying help us were dying for her big American primetime interview. Honestly, it both frightens and disgusts me how people like nesto will come to defend the president's actions of politicizing the death and suffering of countless Americans in their time of need after a natural disaster. We've spent several times more workers helping the people of other countries after disasters, but somehow Trump has decided to deny that to American citizens, and it's sickening how people will sit here and defend this.
PR has many t-shirt printing studios scattered around, take a day to have one of your staffers make the shirt in exchange for a message every news organization starts with. Good deal in my eyes. Cruz' home was completely destroyed in the hurricane, she's living in a shelter with the rest of her family and other displaced families, enduring food shortages when necessary just like everyone else. She probably didn't spend much time in the warehouse for this statement. Governor Rosello (The Dem governor you mentioned) quoted as saying "The Government has delivered on every petition" also said the following: Rosello has praised the federal government’s relief effort, but he told MSNBC: “The response still is not where it needs to be, certainly it’s not.” The Mayor also said
“I’m asking members of the press to send a mayday call. We are dying here. If we don’t solve the logistics, we are going to see something close to a genocide.”
Also her being a terrorist sympathizer, even if true (never heard of this) is better than Trump, who's an actual terrorist. [editline]30th September 2017[/editline]
And? I already said hes an idiot for doing it. And so is she.
Classic victim blaming innit? Just noticed.
Its not where it needs to be because A: they cant move it and B: the lack of power and comms makes it impossible to coordinate efforts. http://www.military.com/daily-news/2017/09/27/hospital-ship-deploying-puerto-rico-ramped-up-hurricane-response.html This narrative that nothing is being done or that aid is inadequate is nonsense. [editline]30th September 2017[/editline]
well this is the same nesto that's previously demonstrated that he uses white nationalist conspiracy youtube channels as his sources this is your brain on that sort of agenda
What
nesto you're obviously delusional
What about the real narrative that not enough is being done? Surely not enough is being done in moving the aid or restoring power and comms, or else it would be dumb to "bitch and moan" about it. Or is there an atmosphere of collective hysteria and exaggeration where everyone is wrong and Trump is right? Also surely Puerto Ricans are doing everything they could, unlike what Trump is saying. Also elaborate on ""terrorist sympathiser"".
One of Nesto's points was the following:
"We need to do a lot more in order for us to get out of the emergency," Puerto Rico Gov. Ricardo Rosselló said in San Juan. "But the other thing that's also true is that the administration has answered and has complied with our petitions in an expedited manner."
What he left out is
Rosello has praised the federal government’s relief effort, but he told MSNBC: “The response still is not where it needs to be, certainly it’s not.”

Oscar López Rivera (born January 6, 1943) is a Puerto Rican activist and militant who was one of the leaders of the Fuerzas Armadas de Liberación Nacional Puertorriqueña (FALN), a clandestine paramilitary organization devoted to Puerto Rican independence. A fugitive since 1976 and indicted in 1977 and 1979, López Rivera was arrested on May 29, 1981 and tried by the United States government for seditious conspiracy, use of force to commit robbery, interstate transportation of firearms, and conspiracy to transport explosives with intent to destroy government property. López Rivera admitted committing every act with which he was charged, but declared himself a political prisoner and refused to take part in most of the trial proceedings. He maintained that according to international law he was an anticolonial combatant and could not be prosecuted by the United States government. On August 11, 1981, López Rivera was convicted and sentenced to 55 years in federal prison. On February 26, 1988 he was sentenced to an additional 15 years in prison for conspiring to escape from the Leavenworth federal prison.
Can read more about him here https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oscar_López_Rivera
Fucking lol terroristic sympathizing are you kidding me big boy? Acting as if some militia in Puerto Rico is comparable to the astounding amount of white nationalistic nazi fucks and insane right-wing crazy groups here in the mainland that Daddy Donald you love so much doesn't give two shits about. You realize, nesto, that crazy militia types are up here too right? Or is it not comparable cause they're not scary and brown? Why is it okay to hate on the mayor for remotely being okay with this group when the President of the United States does not criticize actual groups here in the United States that are in active support of the removal of minorities, Jews, and support an ideology that has murdered millions of people?
Bullshit. The dude is a self admitted combatant of the US and plead guilty to his crimes. Political prisoner my ass. He and his group are not freedom fighters. Theyre terrorists like any other.
López Rivera joined the Fuerzas Armadas de Liberación Nacional Puertorriqueña (FALN), a Marxist-Leninist organization which in the 1970s fought to make Puerto Rico an independent communist nation.[8][9][5] The FALN was involved in more than 100 bombings in New York, Chicago and other cities, including the 1975 bombing at Fraunces Tavern in Manhattan that killed four people.[1] The FALN was one of the targets of the first terrorism task force in the United States; the US Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF), established in April 1980, had as one of its goals to pursue threats from the Armed Forces of National Liberation (FALN).[10] López Rivera was first linked to the criminal conspiracy carried out by the FALN in 1976. That year, a burglar was arrested in Chicago attempting to peddle stolen explosives. The burglar led the Chicago police to an apartment, nearly devoid of furniture, but in which there were boxes containing explosives and bomb-making paraphernalia, weapons, clothing, wigs, and photographs of Chicago buildings, maps of the city, and several FALN documents, including a manual for guerrilla warfare detailing deceptive practices and rules of clandestine living titled Posición Política.[a] This bomb factory was linked to the owner of the apartment, Carlos Torres, López Rivera, and their respective wives, Marie Haydée Beltrán Torres and Ida Luz Rodríguez. All four became fugitives after this discovery. The four were also linked to the National Commission on Hispanic Affairs (NCHA) of the Protestant Episcopal Church, a charitable organization based in New York City that was meant to fund projects to assist Hispanic communities throughout the United States.[12] In 1977, 11 FALN members, including Luz Rodriguez and Torres Beltrán, were arrested trying to rob an armored truck in Evanston, Illinois. López Rivera was apprehended a few years later when, according to police, he ran a stop sign in a Chicago suburb and provided a false Oregon driver's license.[13] At the time of their arrest, López Rivera and the others declared themselves combatants in an anti-colonial war against the United States to gain Puerto Rico's independence from the U.S.. They invoked prisoner of war status. They stated that U.S. courts did not have jurisdiction to treat them as criminals, and they petitioned for their cases to be handed over to an international court that would determine their status. The U.S. Government did not recognize their request.[14]
That is a terrorist plain and simple. You wanna argue that Al-Queda, the IRA, and ISIS are freedom fighters too?
Okay, but why are white people in the US that chant "kill the Jews" not terrorists as well, and why are they not being condoned by the current government that you radically defend? I want you to define what it means to be a terrorist and stick away from Wikipedia for a minute. Use some of your own critical thinking on this one, because from what I understand you're more concerned with what happened in Puerto Rico decades ago and not what is currently impacting modern society.

Still, at least five things here. First, completely irrelevant to her points in this context. Even if she was at some point a terrorist herself, the validity of every single claim should be checked individually. Second, by the same logic, Obama and Bill Clinton are both also terrorist sympathizers, as Obama gave the 75 year old man clemency and Bill offered it. Third, his arrest and trial was always controversial, as he was never connected to the bombings, just his role in FALN. Fourth, his case should have been handled by international courts as he was (apparently) a POW at war with the US, which could have meant mistrial in the first place. Fifth, and probably the most important, The sentences imposed on Oscar and his fellow terrorists were twenty times longer than other similar and comparable offenses on other terrorists. The clemency was a humanitarian thing, not a "yeah sure go blow up more people" thing, and the fact that you seem to be implying that shows how your mind works. This is what I found with my eyes hurting at 4 AM.

"why does she support a terrorist", said shortly after trump pardons a power-tripping ex-sheriff that operated self proclaimed concentration camps and encouraged officers under him to specifically target a race whether or not they were here legally
-nesto- just so you know your talking points from the Daily Caller failed and they are now pulling another Mayor saying the San Juan Mayor isn't attending meetings, no shit sherlocks she is trying to help people on the fucking ground.
Dailycaller? I got that from an article on Vibe dating back to January after googlin her name. The Dailycaller uses a vid in Spanish with their own translation. I aint touching that shit.
