Fuck summer jobs, I am not washing the dishes of old people for another 3 weeks ever again in my life.
Now, if you have something that doesn't suck and is IT-related, we can talk.
Talk to SSP or one of it's branches (Jimm's, FSP, LoimaaNET, etc.)
i got into harvard because they really fuckin liked my crews video
who would wanna work at mcdonalds anyway
Someone who is at college and likes getting money rather than sitting on their ass doing nothing all day
McDonald's was my first job (I've managed to get in a better spot in a local store) and I can say it was the worst 2 months. Wasted a good part of the summer. The working conditions are shit, everyone's a huge ass. Thankfully I worked in the kitchen for the most part, but when you're a cashier people are huge asshats
Eh, a job is a job.
Which one has a higher rate leading to successful lives? :v:
The harder one.
But all you do at mcdonalds is flip burgers?
I call bullshit
I know 5 people at my high school who work at various McDonalds yet there ain't nobody that's gotten accepted into Harvard

Learn what a statistic is before you start talking.
At least some companies are doing mass hiring like this, it is hard to find something. Might seem like a small amount, but 62 thousand people just got hired and now are a contributing factor to society.
Im surprised at the amount of people here who work/worked at McDonalds
I really am.
I applied for McDonald's and their hiring day.
Didn't get hired :smith:
I had a hard time finding a job after I got graduated from highschool 3 years ago, I put in applications everywhere and not one single company called me, until recently last 2 months, wal-mart called me about my application about when am I available to work, and I said "any" and then she said "oooooookkkkkkkk....." then she hanged up on me :/, I call back 2 days later and they only got position open for people greeter and cart pusher, I wanted cart pusher but they never called me back...
Mcdonald's did not hire me after 2-3 applications I filled, Best buy won't hire me after I did about 2-3 applications, Aerotek won't hire me, Wal-Mart won't really hire me, Factory Card/Party Outlit didn't hire me... I have to go to a temp service or go military.
All the jobs I saw here required 2 years of experience. Couldn't find any
All the jobs I saw here required 2 years of experience. Couldn't find any
Don't let that stop you from applying. You might get lucky and get a job regardless of your experience level if the person interviewing you likes you.

I never applied for McDonalds, but I got rejected for a job as on the online application I put indifferent for most of the questions. :v:
Hey least I didn't lie and suck up. :c00l:

I find that fucking retarded, you can't get a job because you don't have experience, but you can't get experience without a job.

I'd rather suck up and have a job than put indifferent and not have a job.

I've worked in kitchen environments before and hated them, which is why I didn't really care about the application.
I now enjoy working and have a better working enviroment than working in a kitchen.

"Sixteen-years-old, quit your last job after only three weeks, and have no other vocational experience? I couldn't imagine a better manager for my video-game-and-candy franchise! Welcome aboard, you'll get your first million dollar paycheck next Tuesday!"
People don't generally apply to Ivy League schools unless they really busted their ass and did everything to increase their odds.
it's because the majority of the hispanics work there.
I guess they love cheap labor.
Shit, you don't wanna work at Mcdonalds.
It's easier to get into college than to get a job. I had virtually had little issue in getting into Westwood, yet every job I apply, I never get a reply back or they tell me I'm not what they're looking for. How fucking hard is it to a cashier? Is the damn assessment test the make you take. You have lie to get a job.
We didn't hire anybody at our store for Hiring Day.
Neither did we.

It cant be that hard to get a job there, when I was 17 I found a fly in my food and mcdonalds offered me a job for it... I said fuck no, I want coupons for free food. So I ate free for quite some time. So yeah, go eat something there, find bug, bitch them out, get job!

I never really even got to that stage.
At Wendys: "Hi, do you have a position open?"
"No"

I think they're racist, everyone there was Indian.
I couldn't get fucking hired at the maccas literally 5 minutes for my house.
I wanted to do nightshifts, they desperately needed someone and I was the only applicant.
They turned me down because they thought I'd break down under pressure from angry customers.
I've been on the fucking internet since I was 12, I think I can handle some irate people with a straight face considering some of the shit I've seen.
