Dude, I'm unironically interested in the Wacky Races reboot, it's fuckin Death Race now I love it :v:
don't just judge a book by its cover though
God damn this looks so awful. They all look like hipsters, especially Shaggy, he looks like a douche
Better than its current iteration from hell
is this real
I can't take credit for it because my friend said it but 'Wacky Race Land' sounds like an eccentric 1800s British gentleman describing Africa To be honest I don't have any real issue with this. It's for comics and for the most part it seems like it's pretty self aware. Also it's interesting to note that at the time Scooby Doo was originally airing Shaggy was the equivalent of what he's being depicted as here. The pot smoking goateed hippie was the irritating counterculture figure of that time. I mean the term Hippie originates from the original beatnick hipsters of the 50s
Better than its current iteration from hell
The art style looks like it should be a Family Guy cutaway gag or something.
I'm just excited for Future Quest, with the return of Space Ghost and Birdman. Here's hoping for more Falcon 7. [editline]1st February 2016[/editline] Can Stephen Colbert please cover this on The Late Show in character in Phil Ken Sebben
All of them look like awesome concepts. Wacky Races was in dire need of a follow-up for sure.
I saw this on /co/ thought it was fan made
Jesus fuck Shaggy looks like Ragnar Lodbrok from Vikings

If I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die historic on the Fury Road!

I'm conflicted, as much as I'm upset they're rebooting this in a gritty style, they couldn't have chosen a better way to do it.
Did they turn Velma into a child?
From the great series of Mystery Incorporated to this. While Scooby Doo has always been about wacky stuff, I found that dipping into the mature territory is better. That said, the ultra-modernized Scooby Doo comic looks like an insult.
[t]http://www.boomerangtv.co.uk/dynamic/video/00000000/964/0c86f3956414de81818c442330b8b8b1.jpg[/t] holy crap, how did this happen Mystery Incorporated had genuinely cool artwork, gave it a really atmospheric feel This just looks like one of the many presumably-stylistic-suck adult cartoons, it's so bad Did they hire deviantArt to animate it?

We call it the Johnny Test effect.
To quote my friend on Shaggy's look
In their defense, shaggy was supposed to be a fucking pussy in the first place. So they are just making his design reflect that.
:v:
I kinda hope these all take place in the same universe at the same time. Like some sort of Hanna-Barbera expanded universe. Scooby Doo teams up with the Flinstones and competes in the Wacky Races or something.
[t]http://www.boomerangtv.co.uk/dynamic/video/00000000/964/0c86f3956414de81818c442330b8b8b1.jpg[/t]
Fans love to rave about Velma, but true fans know that Daphne is where it´s at. :q: [t]https://i.imgur.com/VLlzQQF.jpg[/t] [editline]2nd February 2016[/editline]
[t]http://cdni.wired.co.uk/1240x826/w_z/Wacky_Race_Land.jpg[/t]
This... this could actually work. But I'mma make a wild guess and say that if PA Wacky Races takes off, Speed Racer will be next. [t]http://pictures.ozy.com/pictures/1500xany/5/9/2/45592_LD_SpeedWMach5Sideview1500x804.jpg[/t] ^ but in a wasteland, or a Total Death Race 2000 environment...
So, how long until the gritty Jetsons reboot where they are fighting aliens somewhere? Or the Captain Caveman reboot that's the tired "caveman brought to modern day" affair?
Cool shaggy is a lumbersexual now. I hate 2016

Damn, Shaggy has a "Stan Smith" chin going on there.
scooby looks freaky with those eyes
Shaggy kind of looks like Tony Law.
I've got to admit (as much as I detest most of the aesthetics): translating an animal's thoughts to emoji seems a lot more plausible than translating them into practical English with equal technology.

this is always how i imagine a "gritty" reboot of scooby doo:

I never realized until now just how perfect Fury Road and Wacky Races are together.
Cool shaggy is a lumbersexual now. I hate 2016
In the 60s and 70s lazy goateed hippies afraid of conflict were 'the annoying douchebag hipster' of the time, it's just the artists trying to put a twist on the character design
How can they make a future Johnny Quest? Venture Bros already got to claim Johnny Quest, no really, they got full rights to it. We already know what he's like now.
Should've gone with a cyberpunky/Shadowrun-ish adaptation instead for Scooby Doo.
