Just because websites can't be bothered to have their UI correctly reflect that they are county delegates rather than individual voters is meaningless. For example, Iowa: http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/ng-interactive/2016/feb/01/iowa-caucus-results-live-county-by-county-interactive-map . Note the use of "votes". And, just to be clear, the actual votes were never released for Iowa that I can tell: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/02/09/iowa-democrats-stonewalling-on-vote-totals-but-have-released-past-numbers.html
I may be wrong. But if that is the case then they're really fucking the numbers tbh
I know. But this happens quite often. You need to factor in people old enough to vote, able to go, apathetic, etc.
Caucus turnout rates in America have always been between 15 and 20%, you're telling me this one county is such an outlier that it has 0.22% turnout?
Caucus turnout rates in America have always been between 15 and 20%, you're telling me this one county is such an outlier that it has 0.22% turnout?
It's either they fucked up big time in reporting or its abysmal. Right now, I am probably gonna say you're right and they're screwing the numbers.
Liking the Washington results thus far. https://www.washingtonpost.com/2016-election-results/washington/
Alaska is looking pretty good for Sanders, holy fuck.
It's either they fucked up big time in reporting or its abysmal. Right now, I am probably gonna say you're right and they're screwing the numbers.
I'm convinced you're trolling. people have explained it to you several times now.

My precinct appeared to have about a 1.5% turnout, luckily we didn't get overcrowded like many other caucuses in the state. Building was still full though, barely had enough seats.
Hillary is close to non-viable in Alaska with 15% reporting. Sanders at 83.7%
I'm convinced you're trolling. people have explained it to you several times now.
And I agree now. I see what I have gotten wrong and fell back on it.

My bad completely.
garfield county having a lower than average turnout wouldn't surprise me, its the reddest county in the state
I wonder where all the "Supporting Bernie is delusional" guys went, you'd think a thread where we talk about his high turnout would have at least a few of them.
I wonder where all the "Supporting Bernie is delusional" guys went, you'd think a thread where we talk about his high turnout would have at least a few of them.
Didn't most of them get banned?
Didn't most of them get banned?
A couple of the diehard Trump supporters did, dunno about others- I know Postal was part of that, and I'm pretty sure no mods have been banned recently.
When Bernie wins something it's dead quiet. When Hillary wins by margins: "HAHAHA BERNIE IS DEAD YOU'RE ALL SO DELUSIONAL OH GOD HILLARY I LOVE YOUR DEMOCRATIC WALLSTREET DICK NOMNOMNOMNOMN"
Alaska is looking pretty good for Sanders, holy fuck.
Well, yeah. Alaska is about as far north as you can go.
alaska going for sanders doesn't surprise me since alaska is basically the anti-establishment state, although it will totally be for trump in the general election
Bernie at 81% only at 15% votes called in Alaska
Wouldn't it be great if Bernie was POTUS? Just the thought of there being a slim chance makes me giddy.
CNN and MSNBC are desperately attempting to avoid making positive comments towards Sanders. Caucuses are now "profoundly undemocratic," they "disenfranchise voters," and "they're run by party amateurs." They're "...more complicated than primaries, requiring voters to assemble at one of a relatively small number of locations at a certain time and stay for several hours." They are honestly using these comments to deride caucuses, when out of context, all of these statements could apply to Arizona...
Alaska and Washington don't matter because they're next to Vermont, right guys ?

They can rightfully fuck off
i agree that caucuses are shitty but it is so obvious they're only bitching about them now that sanders is slaying clinton
Anyone know when the Hawaii results will start coming in?
Anyone know when the Hawaii results will start coming in?
6PM Central i believe
Alaska is looking pretty good for Sanders, holy fuck.
I'm not sure where they're getting that info. If you hover over any county, it shows no votes. It only shows those numbers when seeing the state as a whole.
Bernie leading washington at 73.6% with 11% of votes counted
I always find it confusing when I see people voting uncommitted in a primary/caucus. Can someone explain why one would do that instead of just not voting? I can understand doing a write-in (which I don't think you can do in a primary) but why vote uncommitted?
I'm not sure where they're getting that info. If you hover over any county, it shows no votes. It only shows those numbers when seeing the state as a whole.
the interaction between data + visual representation on most of the result sites are garbage
