Hunterbrute is the best 09er ever
Yet again, a thread mentioning Jesus breaks out into a fight...i wish everyone would just get along :frown:
Hunter, I'm sorry, but you're just as opinionated as the Christians on this subject, and your arguments are just as hollow as theirs.
:cawg:
Hunterbrute is the best 09er ever
I know I am. :smug:
Yet again, a thread mentioning Jesus breaks out into a fight...i wish everyone would just get along :frown:
Thats because people still believe in myths.
Thats because people still have different opinions.
Fixed. I still have yet to see any evidence from anyone that he didn't exist.
Fixed. I still have yet to see any evidence from anyone that he didn't exist.
Wait, who is the one with the burden of proof? Since there is no immediate evidence that suggests Jesus was real, I believe you're the one who has to bring forth evidence other than "this place has it go buy a ticket to rome"
Since there is no immediate evidence that suggests Jesus was real, I believe you're the one who has to bring forth evidence other than "this place has it go buy a ticket to rome"
I did provide evidence, and it wasn't "this place has it go buy a ticket to rome".
I did provide evidence, and it wasn't "this place has it go buy a ticket to rome".
yet you failed to even refer to the evidence you provided to further prove your point that you proved that Jesus actually existed, further proving that you fail at providing such evidence that would account for the existence of such person.
Fixed. I still have yet to see any evidence from anyone that he didn't exist.
The stories of Jesus alone shout out Myth, there is no evidence supporting a historical Jesus. I think thats all the evidence you need to conclude he didnt exist.
yet you failed to even refer to the evidence you provided to further prove your point that you proved that Jesus actually existed, further proving that you fail at providing such evidence that would account for the existence of such person.
Its ok his mind is set on believing mythology as fact, dont try to argue with idiocy.
There's more evidence for UFO abductions; you can right now go and interview eyewitnesses and get their accounts, some abductions happened in groups and you can see their accounts corroborate each other and there usually aren't many too conflicting views. But at the end of the day it doesn't really matter, a Christian won't get swayed when you show them how little water their arguments hold because it's illogical from the get go. Fighting illogic with logic doesn't seem to work, you show them an analogous situation and they(usually) are quick to see the logical fallacies in play, yet when you bridge that to their beliefs which are usually one in the same, the shields get raised for some random reason.
I did provide evidence, and it wasn't "this place has it go buy a ticket to rome".
Did you read my rebuttal? It wasn't even really my rebuttal as I only had to link to a page that was linked from that page on the same site that showed how strong it was.
Im only using what history says, and history says he didnt exist. Science has challenged the bible and science wins, why should History be any different, THE BIBLE IS NOT A HISTORICAL DOCUMENT.
Yes it is. The Old Testament especially is good for mapping the journeys of the various tribes in the region. Of course, some of it is metaphorical at least (e.g. Cain and Abel/the Cainites), but it's our best source on the matter and the fact that you refuse to believe it just reveals your bias.
I don't call Harry Potter a historical document because it takes place in England.
