I do, especially since everyone holds up Columbia to such high regards. But he also brought perfectly legitimate points. Such as the fact its very god damned expensive.
Why is the fact that it's expensive to go there a valid point? What point is he making? Ferraris are expensive too, but you don't see me bitching about it.
Hahaha this is awesome. "dem brown people wunzta kill us god fearin mericuns. its peples liekk me who gotta put a few boolets in dem." Good job perpetuating the war we're not supporting dick head. There wouldn't be a war to protest about if dumbasses like him didn't sign up for it. [editline]22nd February 2011[/editline] Also lol @ biased NY Post article. "war hero", "bravely stepped up to the mike (sic)" Haha, how the hell do they misspell "mic". :downs: Good one Rupert.
You are retarded, stop posting on topics you have no clue about (IE - everything.)
I do, especially since everyone holds up Columbia to such high regards. But he also brought perfectly legitimate points. Such as the fact its very god damned expensive.
"there are men trying to KILL YOU so enlist today!!!" isn't a valid point
You are retarded, stop posting on topics you have no clue about (IE - everything.)
if you're not actually going to contribute anything to the topic don't post.
"there are men trying to KILL YOU so enlist today!!!" isn't a valid point
I was talking about how expensive it is.
You are retarded, stop posting on topics you have no clue about (IE - everything.)
Why don't you try explaining what you find retarded about my post.
I was talking about how expensive it is. [editline]22nd February 2011[/editline] Ferraris you don't need to have a good life. A fucking diploma...you do.
well ferraris don't have scholarships

A fucking diploma...you do.
You don't need a degree from Columbia to survive. I need a car to get to work everyday, but I'm not driving a Ferrari; I drive a Ford. Want a degree, but can't afford Columbia? Go to a public university maybe?
Why do they have to be fighting? What makes ignorant people who will willing go off and fuck up the rest of the world any more brave or honorable than those who aren't fucking shit up.
We do it so kids like you can sit at home in comfort and enjoy your freedom to have whatever opinion you have. We fight so you don't have to. We do it for something bigger than ourselves, and that's why its honorable.
I make my own degrees at home.

Also, a big thanks for helping to take away my other freedoms via the PATRIOT Act.
He probably couldn't afford the college that all those hipsters got their parents to pay for. So because he's crippled and almost got killed, they think he's some sort of military representation. A new low.

You're telling me the anger I felt on 9/11 was some selfish notion? You're telling me that I joined for myself, and not for the overwhelming sense of duty I felt I needed to fulfil for my country? I guess you know more about me than I do, and I guess the guys I fly with aren't like brothers to me.
ignoramus of the year
excellent contribution to the topic.

I only see Pvtfaggot and lachzor only post when it has anything to do with soldiers. Grow a spine your worm.
I can't believe that guy, stuck in a wheelchair because of his military service, is trying to sell military service! What the hell dude, how stupid do you think those college students are?
"It doesn't matter how you feel about the war. It doesn't matter how you feel about fighting," said Maschek. "There are bad men out there plotting to kill you."
That answers that question. He actually used the phrase "bad men" at a university? Haha.
When they blow up a car, thats called terrorism. When you drop bombs from 30,000 feet, that's national defense. I'm beginning to see a pattern between highly intelligent institutions being anti-war/liberal, and lower education generally being patriotic and pro-military.

As for the topic at hand, I don't see why it would be such a large issue to have an ROTC unti on campous. If someone wanted to be an officer why not do it through an ivy league school? Its not like ROTC takes up all the campous, if anything its like taking a seperate college course. And if you were to join ROTC without a military contract you have no military obligation.
I can guarentee you I did not do it for someone like you.
So, what, you're only fighting for half of your country? Or you're fighting for the whole country but don't want to?
So, what, you're only fighting for half of your country? Or you're fighting for the whole country but don't want to?
he fights for the people that understand what hes doing
he fights for the people that understand what hes doing
uhhh he said he did it for peoples freedom to have whatever opinion they want... but now it's only if that opinion is a favourable one concerning the military?
