Whats the man saying?
the police have some kind of big ass searchlight they've been using periodically
It's for the snipers
We're witnessing history here. This will only get worse.
We're witnessing history here. This will only get worse.
To be honest I don't see this getting too bad, certainly not Yugoslavia or Syria levels of bad any way.
So, what about those tanks ? Have they arrived yet ?
Whats the man saying?
He told people to go to hospitals and try do something about the "disappearing" guys

It can get a lot worse then the police roll in and simply start gunning people down. Which the way it's going, it might head that way.
We'll know when they start rolling over that wall of fire into the crowd.
Isn't this like, on the verge of escalating? The rioters are pumped up and dont look like they will back off anymore. Even the parliament started having fistfights.
All those makeshift weaponry and inspiring stuff is kind of scary it's like an unstopable tsunami but it's conscious and throwing molotov cocktails at you and it's getting bigger and wilder every minute.
I'm so glad I'm not there right now.
"Verge" of escalating? It's been escalating for months, and 90% of it has been the government or police escalating it.
And that was their mistake. They've basically made it impossible for the protesters to disperse peacefully even if they wanted to. As Sun Tzu would put it, they are on desperate ground, and because they have no choice but to fight, they will fight unflinchingly and unceasingly.
The protesters have no way to back down, and if the past three months are any indication, the government doesn't even know how to back down. This is ending only in bloodshed.
So far, the protesters have attacked only in retaliation, only attacking police who tried to attack them or hem them in. Once they decide to make this a full revolution, they'll be going on the offensive. The thing stopping them, I think, is the army's lack of commitment to either side. If the army sides with the protesters (likely), the government has no defense. If the army sides with the government (possible), the protests will linger on for a while but probably won't last without outside aid. And if the army splits (most probable IMO), then you've got a civil war.

I was wondering what was up with that second stream, they must be guarding injured protesters from black bag teams.
So, what about those tanks ? Have they arrived yet ?
I remember there being reports of a BTR but not anything else (though it probably has happened and I missed it).
At least they've got rhythm.
I heard the tanks will be there in 30 minutes.
Aren't the tanks already there? Or are they the APC's?
I heard the tanks will be there in 30 minutes.
They won't open fire on the protestors, surely?
The government has to be bluffing.
Governments don't like to be caught bluffing, even when they ARE bluffing.

It'll probably just be to scare them off and drive through barricades
The government would be retarded to open fire (never mind the fact that tanks aren't very effective at crowd control)
I'm pretty sure they'll be for blowing up the tyre wall.
people have been saying tanks in 30 minutes for the past 3 hours, the tanks are most likely not arriving today unless things go full syria v2 electric bogaloo and everyone starts shooting at eachother.
Even if you knew a tank wasn't going to fire at you, I imagine you'd still be intimidated by it. Must just be scare tactics
They'll probably be used to break up large crowds and intimidate the protesters. Maybe water cannons will be used. In Egypt, they modified some APCs with water cannons during the protests.

Wasn't there a post earlier in this thread that said the tanks are actually going to Odessa, not Kyiv?
What's going on in the espresso livestream?
