Man what I really want to see is a live/current satellite image of the place. Huge trail of smoke probably.
Google Maps update pls.
its 5:38 AM here but dammit i don't want to miss anything
The fire almost needs to be completely relocated, since it's own ash is actually whats keeping it weaker. I'm sure there's probably more than enough fuel that hasn't even been touched because it's buried so deep.
fuck me I want to watch livestream but it's gonna eat all my 1GB of 3G. Ive got around two hours free, damn
perfect time to go zerg, the smoke blowing right into the police

But in both cases, each respective country doesn't exactly have a homogeneous view on the issue. Awhile ago there was that map posted which showed what the majority of different provinces in Ukraine supported and the protesters weren't exactly an outstanding majority among all the provinces. Same with the U.S., except here it's more a thing of apathy than actually supporting this or that side.
So here's a question: What happens if they actually make it into Parliament? It's not like a videogame where the second you achieve that single goal, everything changes. Would they hole up? Would they try and hold the building?
Nobody can really know.
Also I noticed that most people who are posting here right now are in America, and only some are in Europe.
Berkut doesn't deserve getting molotovs thrown into their faces. These are just normal, every-day folks protecting the democratically elected government chosen by the people. It'd be a different story had they been defending some dictator that murdered thousands like in Libya or Egypt. But just because the government enacted some knee-jerk laws in response to the protests doesn't mean they are literally fighting Stalin junior here.
I know what you're saying, but the government shouldn't be able to step on it's people, the people are the country, that's what democracy is, if things keep going on the way they are, a Stalin Jnr is inevitable. Governments should be afraid of their people, not the other way around. Police stomping on peaceful protestors brought this on.
people are running, on ground cameras are back
They have their Catapult back, Esspreso stream is showing it.
RT's on-ground stream is pretty good for now, lots of people were just running away.
Is that a Molotov Slingshot?
Also I noticed that most people who are posting here right now are in America, and only some are in Europe.
So? were all on Earth oh sorry buzzkillington i guess we aren't on Earth
The tension right now feels like;
Also I noticed that most people who are posting here right now are in America, and only some are in Europe.
Most people in Europe are probably at work or in school or something.
idk man at this point i wouldn't really be caring about my job

We are dealing with the NSA In the united states, The funny part is us just typing and having political action "peacefully" has done nothing but still keep the NSA in-tact. The ukranian people want change and an answer now, Not years from now. That's the difference.
Except it's not 'the Ukrainian people', half of the country doesn't even want to be part of the EU and thinks these riots are idiotic and a waste of lives, money and time. And they're right.
In a poll taken late December 2013 by the Research & Branding Group 50% of Ukrainians stated they didn't support Euromaidan, while 45% did support it.
http://en.interfax.com.ua/news/general/184540.html It'd be a different story had the entire country been up in flames and not a single street would be left untouched, but what's going on in Ukraine is a whole different matter. It's literally just the 50m long "wall of fire" in Kiev along with several thousand active protesters and that's it. There are more across the country but they're in far smaller, isolated groups that are easily quelled. This isn't some nation-wide violent revolution. Most of the photos and videos are from the same areas. I know you guys are in the heat of the moment and just want something to happen already to see some live action but actually take a step back and reevaluate the situation a bit before you jump to conclusions about how these people are heroic freedom fighters.
The UKR stream is a fucking repeat what the fuck, We saw this guy slip on ice and then they go back to the group with the kid on the cig. WE SAW THIS???
The UKR stream is a fucking repeat what the fuck, We saw this guy slip on ice and then they go back to the group with the kid on the cig. WE SAW THIS???
It's a glitch in the Matrix.
Most people in Europe are probably at work or in school or something.
Yep. In Europe. Posting from school.
Guys something is up with UKR, The streams keep jump cutting and one of them was repeated footage from earlier.
I wonder how it'd be with a hypothetical experiment of a split European and Russian Ukraine.
Also I noticed that most people who are posting here right now are in America, and only some are in Europe.
It's 10:50 here now. I'd imagine most people that follow the thread is trying to do stuff and lurk at the same time
I wonder how it'd be with a hypothetical experiment of a split European and Russian Ukraine.
Sounds like Berlin all over again.
Anyone got an actual live stream I watched the same guy walk past. It's 100% repeated footage
I wonder how it'd be with a hypothetical experiment of a split European and Russian Ukraine.
Imagine northern and southern ireland. With an abundance of ex soviet weaponry.
I think we've reached the point where the issue is no longer whether or not the Ukraine should join the European Union. It's the point that their bastard of a President needs to be deposed and dragged through the goddamn streets for the tactics he and his ilk have been utilizing. Kidnapping the injured and murdering them in the woods are the tactics of the Stasi and the Schutzstaffel, not a legitimate government.
