great to see they let them leave after getting what they want
that one dude's spike flail looked pretty crazy though
Or they could've just left and let the cops stay at their posts. Now they're gonna trash the goddamn building without actually doing anything useful.
Nice job
The first thing you do in a riot like this is not "wow man look much property damage im causing how terrible" and instead "All this damage is a statement of how displeased I/we are with the state of things"
The worst I saw in the video was a guy getting bonked on the head. But he was wearing a helmet so he probably wasn't even phased.
It is really commendable that the opposition lets them walk free instead of beating them senseless.

When you protest, you make a statement, but some people (a lot of the times a large portion of the populace that's protesting) can go even further to let the government(or what ever the target) know that the people are willing to do worse things
Did the tanks arrive yet?
Did the tanks arrive yet?
30 more minutes
I get a horrible shudder whenever I see a riot cop hit by molotov. Yeah, they knew what they signed up for. Yeah, they're on the wrong side of the conflict. Yeah, some of them are quite violent. But holy fuck, no one deserves that.
If its any consolation, my dad served as an infantryman during the Troubles in Northern Ireland - during which he had to serve as riot control/police. They got petrol bombs lobbed at them as well, but they don't have that much of an effect against most infantry, because even in formation you can scatter way from the impact site and avoid them, and if some lone bugger manages to get lit up badly you can rally round to put him out.
Since he was an engineer though, he did say they're horrifically effective against vehicles, because whoever is inside gets a pool of burning fuel pouring down on to them, and your movement and escape options are limited. On top of that, you run the risk of the fire spreading to munitions or the fuel tank...
ran out of fuel
[sp]tanks[/sp]
You will feel very stupid when the tanks arrive in 30 minutes. It has been confirmed.

Glad the protesters didn't become animals and started beating the officers senselessly. Got their gear and allowed them to leave.

Still half an hour out.
tanks?
3 hours have passed it's still 30 minutes.
3 hours have passed it's still 30 minutes.
You don't understand, my cousin is a berkut.
3 hours have passed it's still 30 minutes.
Ukraine is in a different time-zone, just wait 30 minutes, they'll be there.
Imagine if everyone joking about the tanks being thirty minutes away totally jinxed the shit out of everything and all of the sudden they start blasting the shit out of Kyiv and hundreds of people die.
Update: Tanks are 29 minutes away guys
Clearly the tank commander, or at least whoever is reporting these times, is actually GabeN. 30 minutes valve time, more like.

My cousin, the berkut. Obviously.
The opposition rejected it.

If things continue like this it'll get ugly.

Things would have gotten way uglier if they accepted the offer
