Police are doing their job. I'm sure they have families that rely on them to put food on the table. I doubt they are doing this for any other real reason.
I got the impression that most of the regular police we saw a few months ago have joined the opposition?
The only law-enforcment personnel that has been present for the past few days have all been Berkut officers.

Would be too far. Tanks have decent speed on roads, a 30 minute drive would be well out of their effective range, unless they're SPGs.
